  1. My preferred draft outcomes (QB focus) less than a month away. Ranked from most to least preferred… 1. Trade up to #2-4 overall for Maye or Daniels. It’s going to cost a premium and I’m okay with it. #11, 23, 2025 1st + a player like Bynum or Metellus is as high as I’d go. 2. Trade up to #5-8 overall for McCarthy or another QB that’s falling. That probably costs both 1st round picks and I’m cool with that. 3. Stick at 11 overall and take the best DT/EDGE on the board. #23 trade down to accumulate more top 100 picks. Take someone like Spencer Rattler in the 2nd or 3rd round. 4. Defense at 11 and Michael Penix at 23. 5. Staying at 11 and 23 and selecting 2 non-QBs. 6. Taking Nix or Penix at 11 and non-QB at 23. This is the one outcome that feels like a Ponder type reach. I wouldn’t be happy with this result.
  2. If you thought the 2016 Twins were bad, the Colorado Rockies are on pace for a -2,430 run differential in 2024.
  3. The White Sox are on pace to score 0 runs this season, 0 extra base hits, and strike out 1,782 times.
  4. Isn’t Nelson Cruz on the Dodgers coaching staff now? It could be a fever dream from this offseason.
  5. Almost forgot about this gif.
  6. Winnah! Stop the count! We’re going to the playoffs!!
  7. KC bullpen meltdown. Looks familiar.
  8. Jeeze Bobby Witt Jr heck of a play.
  9. Jim Nantz whispering when a golfer is on the green displays more excitement than these 2. You would think it’s a random Monday afternoon game in June than opening day.
  10. Listening to the radio broadcast. Attebery and Gladden is a tough duo to listen to. Zero excitement.
  11. We’re not allowed to have nice things.
  12. This lineup is wrong. Below is the correct lineup for today:
  13. How are we all doing? Are we in the best or worst shape of our lives?
  14. I also think the Twins are going to win the division. Cleveland year 1 after Tito will be a very disappointing/selling club. White Sox are a bottom 5 team in MLB. Detroit and KC could start out hot like the 2015 Twins, but they’re not ready for prime time.
  15. I am concerned as well. The offense will need to carry the team this season. Maybe this is the year the pitching pipeline overflows with good prospects but that seems to be a pipe dream at this point. This feels like a classic 85 ish win team.
  16. Curious if the Twins Kool-Aid is still tasty after a rough spring training?
  17. @wsnydes is the official book keeper of wins total bets. If you’re wrong, he knows it. If you’re right, he may or may not know it.
  18. Our offense better start the season off on fire. Last year we squeaked out a lot of low scoring 1 run wins in April. Don’t see that happening this season.
  19. I’m happy for him and hope he thrives in Anaheim!
  20. Right there with you, and the damage is already happening in other sports. The NBA like you mentioned, has sports books inside some teams’ arenas where it’s legal to gamble. NBA coach J.B. Bickerstaff recently discussed being threatened by a gambler who obtained his personal phone number. He also said there are fans courtside yelling at him to keep certain players in because it’s an 11 point spread. I’m not a gambler and probably never will be when it’s legalized. I don’t care if others do, but it would be nice to watch sports content without the over/under and money line shoved in our faces every second.
