  1. Lions DL taking a blow today. 2 guys injured
  2. Both Eberflus and Doug Pederson, how are they still employed by their teams?
  3. Hopefully the Dolphins Packers game is entertaining tonight. The Lions game is a snoozer so far and I have absolutely zero interest watching Cowboys Giants in the afternoon.
  4. This game feels like it should be 45-0 Lions.
  5. Does Thielbar have enough time to grow an elite mustache and mullet before ST? If not, I’m not interested.
  6. The chemistry is already there between our bridge QBs!
  7. Andrew Chafin's mullet and mustache is elite, so I am in on him.
  8. Out of all of those teams you named, Pittsburgh is the only stable organization. Daniel Jones could take the money and run I suppose, but he's bound to fail if he does. He is taking the smart, calculated route right now going to a stable organization to extend his NFL career. If he goes to a team like the Raiders next year and fails, he will be out of the NFL by 2026.
  9. Not just any INT. Some of the dumbest INTs I have ever seen a Vikings QB throw in my lifetime. Mullens is a the type of player with the mentality of a 97 MPH power pitcher, but throws 87 MPH instead.
  10. Brian Duensing was discussed of course as a throw in to any transaction
  11. KOC is building something special here fellas. His reputation for being a QB rehab expert is going to pay off in spades down the road. We won’t have a Sean Mannion type backup again!
  12. Just to reiterate I’m not a Danny Dimes truther, but we are a Darnold or Mullens injury away from something called Brett Rypien wearing a Vikings uniform. I’d rather have Jones who’s started 60 something games as insurance for the playoffs.
  13. We were all saying that about Darnold when we signed him too. KOC is earning his reputation as a QB rehab expert. Jones won’t jump ahead of Mullens in the next couple of weeks, that’s why he’s on the PS.
  14. We get a 6 week trial run for basically free to see if we want to keep him around for the 2025 season. He gets a head start learning KOC’s system and see how he interacts with McCarthy. Plus, he is insurance this year if Darnold goes down with injury. He’s a hell of a lot better than Rypien on our practice squad. I’m a big fan of the move.
  15. Love it. Welcome to the team Danny Dimes!
  16. The Dodgers have figured out if you have 10 pitchers who are hurt half of the time, you have a 5 man rotation.
  17. Did the Twins win or lose this trade? Memorial Day is on Monday vs. 4th of July on Friday... The weather is likely to be better in July, but there are a lot of in-state folks that head to the cabin for a long weekend. I was in attendance for the 4th of July series in 2024 against the Tigers when Miranda was on his 12 for 12 MLB record tear. Rain put a damper on the series and Target Field was maybe at 50% capacity.
  18. I'm not sure I agree with this line of thinking. I am enjoying this season greatly, but the Vikings have earned much higher expectations than what we thought in August. Now it's fair to expect 12 wins and making some noise in the playoffs... As long as the team remains as healthy as they've been this season. I expected the Twins to win a low 80s amount of games pre-season, but that didn't make the last 6 weeks of the season collapse hurt any less. I'm not heading into this winter thinking yep, the Twins met expectations no reason to make any changes.
  19. The new market inefficiency in the NFL... The NFL is cyclical and I expect a focus on RB again like the late 90's/early 2000's.
  20. And I lost with that 31 yard screen reception
  21. Nobody cares, but I am in a must win fantasy matchup going up against Saquon Barkley. This isn't going to end well for me.
  22. I'm surprised in this day and age of analytics that no reputable source tracks how many yards get credited to WRs for defensive penalties. Jefferson is on one of my fantasy teams (no one cares) and I've said to my buddies Jefferson has accounted for probably 400 yards of penalties on top of his actual production. Just today alone he was credited for, what, 70 yards of penalties?
  23. The whole NFC West looks pretty mediocre
  24. Texans look quite fraudulent this year but someone's gotta win the AFC South... And we've seen personally that they're all worse than Houston.
