  1. I’m not a Danny Dimes truther. I’m way more excited that KOC’s reputation is growing as a QB rehab expert. That’s going to give us a significant advantage in the future.
  2. Might become reality once he clears waivers on Monday
  3. All very plausible plus both NY teams. He's only going to a big market. Phillies trying to make that possibility happen by trying to unload Nick Castellanos.
  4. So the Mets go nuts adding over $100 million in payroll? They also need at minimum 2 starters. They're far more likely to be in on Corbin Burnes than Correa. Edit: My bad I thought this post was about Soto.
  5. In the last 10 games at Soldier Field, the Vikings have scored 20 or more points twice. I expect more of the same... 16-13 Vikes win.
  6. Thad Levine had the reputation of being more aggressive, vs. Falvey who has been more conservative FWIW. I expect some trades to happen later in January once Falvey/Zoll let the offseason develop. If Baltimore strikes out re-signing Corbin Burnes and Anthony Santander, I can see them being active in the trade market.
  7. 19-16 good guys at the half. They better start greasing the light poles around campus… Penn State indeed looks overrated.
  8. I doubt the Twins are going to hold that title much longer. Detroit has historically spent more on their roster and now their young core is establishing themselves. I expect them to make some impact signings this offseason - a #2/3 type starting pitcher and perhaps an AJ Hinch/Alex Bregman reunion… The Twins total budget isn’t the problem, it’s how the budget is allocated. A $37 million salary does not work in a $130 million payroll. Especially when he’s missing 40+ games every season. Same with Buxton’s $15 million salary missing 60+ games every season.
  9. Here’s another incentive to get him in the building
  10. Oh I think he’s been humbled plenty over the last week and a half… Dude just participated as a practice team safety yesterday. Jones I’m guessing will want to go to a stable organization like San Fran, LAR, Minnesota, Green Bay, etc. for a reset. I don’t think any team will offer him a starting gig outright.
  11. This escalated quickly, my goodness. Call me crazy… But I would sign Jones after he clears waivers and offer the minimum this year with a $10 ish million option for 2025. He can be the next KOC rehab project.
  12. I would smash that checkbox and fill the rest of the post with:
  13. People forget (I did too) how bad Eli was for the first few years of his career. He was on pace to get benched and replaced before the first miracle run to a Super Bowl. Personally I never thought of him as a top echelon QB in his era. He’s in the Kirk Cousins tier of being a top 15 ish QB but never a top 5 QB
  14. My list would be Luke Keuchly, Willie Anderson, Jared Allen, Torry Holt, and Antonio Gates. No way, no how should Eli Manning be a first ballot HOF player.
  15. Most realistic offseason plan I’ve read so far….
  16. The Jets have always been a disaster so it’s no surprise they’re blowing it up after selling their soul to Aaron Rodgers. I don’t really understand what happened to the Giants? They were once one of the most stable organizations in the NFL. They’ve really lost their way over the last 10 years.
  17. Call me crazy but I think Daniel Jones is next on the 1 year Kevin O'Connell rehab program for QBs. After what he did to make Sam Darnold a top 20 QB in the league, every failed QB is going to want to sign up.
  18. I too would like to press the force trade button on MLB the Show to salary dump some players and acquire other players with no detail required. This article reads like something you were forced to do, and not something you wanted to do.
  19. If Vazquez had 2 more years left on his contract I would have more urgency to tack on a prospect just to dump the salary. But since he’s in the final year of the deal I don’t feel the urgency. I can’t see a team taking on an overpaid veteran unless we are also receiving an overpaid veteran in return.
  20. The crazy thing is they could be awful the rest of the season and stumble upon 10 wins. I think 12+ wins is pretty likely and that's better than what we've seen over the last 20 years.
  21. The 1972 Dolphins can pop the champagne again. KC has their flaws too... This league is full of good not great teams and terrible teams. Hardly any mediocre .500 teams.
  22. Let the QB controversy begin! Kirk was real bad today.
  23. Kirktober is long gone... Do they look to Penix at some point this season?
