The struggles in the 2nd half continue on. The NFL is really strange this year. I can't recall a year where there are this many good not great teams with 6+ wins, and this many horrible teams with 3 wins or less. There's hardly any mediocre .500 teams. Detroit is the best team in the league and they are blowing out teams like it's rookie mode in Madden.
I did get sucked into that “fight” as well. At least I saw part of it during the time Netflix wasn’t buffering. I don’t have high hopes for them hosting NFL games later this year.
Started watching Cross on Amazon Prime. A series based on the Alex Cross book series by James Patterson. 2 episodes in and I’m hooked! Amazon Prime knocked it out of the park with this show.
In case if you haven’t heard, we have no money to work with. It’s not like anyone wants to trade Lopez, but he’s the one player we have that accomplishes two things - most money to shed from the payroll, and most value received back in a trade.
It’s unlikely we’re going to hear about an interested party until the deal is 99% done. Then we will get a Jeff Passan bomb on Twitter saying Jeff Bezos is finalizing a deal to buy the Twins.
