  1. It’s going to be a really long offseason if we’re posting garbage like this on December 5th.
  2. The only reason Fisher is doing this is to hit a minimum payroll threshold so he can continue receiving revenue sharing https://www.si.com/mlb/athletics/relocation/a-s-payroll-reportedly-expected-around-100-million-in-2025-01jdjr5m1cwz
  3. Don’t forget private equity who always operates with the best intentions for the common folk. I love paying 5-10% of my total income every year to a service that will toss me aside the second I become too expensive to insure
  4. I’m all for ideas that speed up the game and make it more accessible for everyone. I don’t like this specific idea. The Bananas are so popular because they run laps around the MLB in social media content. Choreographed dances and gimmicks is more important. The baseball game itself is secondary. No one seriously tracks the Party Animals’ record against the Bananas.
  5. What? I’m arguing Keirsey is very likely not an MLB caliber player.
  6. Yeah I guess? And 29 other GMs didn’t want to give him a chance either evidenced by passing on him in the rule 5 draft. Playing MLB is pretty tough.
  7. Not to mention if/when the youth fails at the MLB level there is no one else to turn to. Except mid season waiver wire scrap heaps like Jordan Luplow.
  8. I’ll bet a lot of money Kiersey never has even an average Kepler 2 bWAR season, let alone Kepler’s peak of 4 bWAR
  9. If “The Madness” pops up on your Netflix queue, don’t bother. It falls into the 90% bucket of Netflix content that starts off okay, then delves into absurdly unrealistic scenarios to fill the middle episodes. I stopped watching after the 5th episode.
  10. The only thing this move represents is the Dodgers have F You money to spend on anyone they want for their team. Nothing more to it.
  11. Agreed. Why risk alienating your existing fans chasing a demographic that you’re likely never to fully capture? Baseball is a boomerang sport. They get introduced to it as a kid, maybe they play baseball or softball as well. Then they go off to do other things because they’re teenagers/college aged and you’re not going to sit for 3 hours watching baseball multiple times a week. Then they come back at a later age when life has settled down a bit more.
  12. This proposed rule change literally comes from the Savannah Bananas. They do this in their league. The moment that MLB adopts a banana ball rule, the Savannah Bananas have won.
  13. If all $150 million is guaranteed, maybe. He’s seen what toxic organizations do to players, and the Raiders are a mess. I would guess he’s hyper focused on going to a stable org/coaching staff to keep thriving on the field.
  14. We can eliminate the Jets and Panthers, he’s never going back there… Best fit IMO is the Rams should they decide to move on from Stafford. Next best is returning back to either MN for another year, or the 49ers if they decide they don’t want to pay Purdy $60 million a year. Tennessee will probably offer big money but I don’t see the fit for him there. Cleveland is a wild card if they can find a way to void Watson’s contract.
  15. MLB is stealing ideas from the Savannah Bananas now? This is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard proposed.
  16. I get it. I was adamant about sticking to the plan of McCarthy starting in 2025, but Darnold is making it difficult to move on. I would be open to a Baker Mayfield type extension 3/$75-90 million at this point. Some team is going to offer him $45+ million a year I would guess. Would the Vikings dive right back into paying big money for a QB?
  17. I entered this season with skepticism about Darnold. Hoping he’d give us at least 5-6 good games before handing the keys to McCarthy. As each week passes, it’s increasingly difficult to ignore how great he’s been for the Vikings. Statistically one of the best seasons we have ever seen from a Vikings QB… For me, if he continues doing this and wins a playoff game or three, we might have to deviate from the plan of letting him walk after the season.
  18. The play before that Rodgers missed a wide open WR who didn't have anyone within 5 yards of him. It's time for him to hang it up.
  19. Would be hilarious if he's benched before playing us next week.
  20. We have really mastered the art of the ugly win
  21. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE!!! WINNER!!
  22. Redemption for Jones!
  23. 4 INTs from Kirko. The chants for Penix are getting louder...
  24. And burn off some clock... Don't want to leave too much time for Murray
  25. JJ saves the day on 4th down. That's at least 5 times the Cardinals can rush at Darnold UNBLOCKED. Awful game by the OL
