    Dozier and Belisle should be on the hot list. We want Granite up again with his negative war? He can chase a ball down although you don't know where the throw will end up. Garver hasn't had an MLB at-bat, people need to relax. He's not even a top prospect. I have a crazy idea, let's wait 2 weeks and call up Granite and Garver and DFA no one giving us extra options!

    I'd bet money Garver will be up Sept. 1st. He could surprise, or he could show everyone he's a fringe MLBer like Granite did. Giminez does remind me how I miss the .191 fan club though.

    I agree, hes swinging and missing at low and outside junk as bad as Greg Gagne or Rich Becker did. Let's hope he can adjust and lay off them.

    The wouldn't have even been a save situation if they wouldn't have pitched Hildenberger in the 8th inning. Two inherited runs, one earned run and Belisle finished the inning for him. Then Belisle gives up a homer to the Tigers best hitter, the first runs he's given up in about a decade and this board wants to blame him. Baffling to say the least.

    I've been trying to argue this for over a month. Alas, you did a much better job of it. If anything it show consistency.

    Perhaps you are right. My questioning Molitor was using up a pen that had been doing well. I guess I was fully expecting the next few starts to go 5 innings or less and the bullpen to get used up blowing a game or two.

    Completely agree, but yet we have to read the same old Garver stuff every other thread. Twins, please call him up in Sept. so we can have a different conversation!

    A game and a half back with four teams to climb over. The second part is not being mentioned and is far more difficult.

    Those "stiffs" played a lot of center field. Walker is not a good defensive player at this level. If the Twins or any other team thought Walker could get even a .600 OPS, someone would have called him up by now.

    Romero will hit his innings limit. Gee is the long man. A couple guys will probably be up in September. You really want an FO to publicly say they are trying to lose? And I don't believe they are trying to lose, they are just being smart enough to trade off pieces because the chances for the playoffs are minimal.

    Then DSP is an idiot. If he can't see what a championship run would do to the franchise, he should really step down and move to ND. Future media deals, ticket sales, ticket pricing, net worth, branding ect.

    I need to see more of Granite before I move someone else. His arm looks very suspect, and I want to see what happens when teams see him for a second or third series. I still wonder if he's not a 4th outfielder. If nothing else, have 4-5 outfielders could be nice depth for once.

    Depends on what you read. Jerry Crasnick is confirming the Braves are picking up the 4.6 million and $200k leaving the Twins owing $100k.
