    I've seen nothing from Palka or Park to suggest they will be some sort of everyday DH in the bigs. They look like a little bit better versions of ABW from afar to me.

    Cool thread indeed. We found out what the Berrio mob is up to now that he is in the bigs again. We learned a new definition of libel. And we learned we only hate Parker 3/50th's of Spewhan or Fatrick.

    It has to be Wilk right? I like Haley more than others so I'd like to see him stick as the long man.

    Good points on burning guys out. The only issue is you have to find guys who can mentally handle getting the last three outs. It's not as easy as some suggest. Getting the last out is different than getting an out in the 6th inning, I don't care about this g00se egg nonsense. I don't know if Pressley can handle it. I wonder about Duffy. Bringing Burdi up and throwing him into the 9th might not be wise. Saving Kintzler and Rogers arms could come at a price., wins.

    I'd prefer they didn't trade any prospects, I would prefer they take an approach to be contending for several seasons than a one and done. If they traded away their top prospects, I don't think they would have enough left to keep supplement what they have.

    I tend to see a handful of regulars do this. I also see posters getting questioned far more often if they don't have thousands of posts. Those are my observations.

    You know all about Twins Daily! Scream about guys stuck in the minors and scream about them after they are called up. It's a beautiful cycle.

    I get the idea, but I wouldn't use the worst contract in hockey as an example.

    Huge improvement that is more sustainable than the pitching improvements imo. Getting back to stressing defense is what I've been asking for.

    When the team once again committed to defense, surprise they are 5-1. I've been asking for this for a couple years. Outside of Sano, I have little worry about the defense.

    No idea, that doesn't work past 10 years old. I guess they are giving them a target to throw at.

    Completely disagree, you are trying to win today's game. It has nothing to do with what game of the season this is. You move runners over to give yourself a chance at a run. 1-21 in the series, you make things happen. Cool weather, strike out pitcher, strike out prone team, is a recipe for tons of runners left on base. You take away strikeouts and double play balls. They gave up a run as the next batter hit a sacrifice fly. I want the lead every time I can get it. To suggest you never bunt early in a game is limiting your options. A good manager changes what he does due to current conditions.

    I though his last swing looked even longer than normal. Especially odd considering an inside pitch.

    Which is exactly why they should have put the bunt down and moved runners over. I'm not suggesting this needs to always be a bunt situation, but when you are not hitting it is a no brainer.

    Watching a major leaguer try to bunt and look like a little leaguer doing it is so aggravating.
