    Nothing has changed, except an awful trade got even worse. BTW, you forgot to mention the Twins are paying Rogers to pitch for San Diego as a bonus. A team expecting to contend cannot make this deal. There is no value in "potential 2024 starter" to a 2022 team. None. Zero.

    Nice blowout win...and Ws have been hard to come by in Oakland for years now. However, Add me to the list of those wondering why Duran couldn't pitch in a tie game last night, but is ok for 23 pitches in said blowout 15 or so hours later.

    Nitpic, but the Twins did not leave 16 men on base They left 9. Either way, it's yet another demonstration of why RBI are an incredibly important offensive stat, despite what you read.

    Hope he does well. But I hope more strongly Correa heals quickly and is back in a couple weeks.

    He didn't get an extra inning from Bundy. He got 2/3rds (at the cost of 3 runs). Again, as is often the case, sticking with a starter too long doesn't "eat innings". The Twins needed a reliever in the 4th despite sending Bundy back out there.

    Pretty ******* fun right now. Tonight's shout out goes to the bullpen, which I complained about all winter, but which has been pretty solid overall.

    Nice series win, and Winder was very impressive. Want to give a shout out to the defense, not just for today, but all year so far. It's been very good, and has been the difference in at least a couple Ws this year.

    Mostly agree, except I think Sano was well past the point where he could safely get back to first. He was farther from 1st than the 1st baseman. Totally agree he has to be aware of the runners in front of him.

    These aren't sixth graders. A major league team had a baserunner (Urshela) caught hung up, dead to rights. A free out. You take that out 100 percent of the time. Larnach isn't even attempting to score with any kind of decent rundown. Hell I'd argue 6th graders should take the free out there. The mistake was throwing to THIRD. Larnach was already standing on the bag. A mistake obviously compounded by the actual throw. But you absolutely make a throw...to 2nd, where the player on 2nd just runs Urshela back to 3rd. Tags both runners, one (Urshela) called out.
