  1. That's the first report I've seen that said that about Gordon.....I'm willing to give it another year to find out. I also am not as high on Jay as Seth and others. I'd have him in the 10ish range, until we see a full year of starting.
  2. i've gone in and out, I can see binging it some day
  3. If it all stays as is (hahahahahaha), I take Greene, I think. But, more reading is needed.
  4. He still does, but he wasn't quite as good last year....but I'd say he goes top 10, or top 5, if he's good next year. Legit.
  5. I think the ppoint is....those two aren't in groups that were allowed to do much in the past....
  6. Agreed. I really like him in the bullpen a lot. A real lot. I really wish he had been up last year, when they needed bullpen help.
  7. he's 21...in AA....I think he has a bit of time...I still can't find a scout that doesn't like his stuff. Agreed on Diaz. he is either an elite hitter, or he's not in the majors.
  8. It is a good positive, imo, that there are some legit candidates here....and that one of them was so bad earlier in the year (and so good later) that it would have been laughable back then to even consider him....but now it is not. I probably also vote Kepler, but if Polanco had been up longer, probably him....I think...maybe.
  9. He pitched in AA in his age 21 season, and was good, not great, at limiting runs given up. I think people are underestimating Stewart. I understand why....
  10. Still not on the Diaz bandwagon for being that high, he was obviously much better this year, but I am still very much Missouri on this one. I just can't see it, as much as I can see Garver. Also, Blankenthorn had a nice season, but I am not as convinced on him as I am on Garver. Two more names I'd have below him. As for Stewart, he's 22, in AA, and posted a nice ERA. While ERA is not the greatest stat, it should not be totally ignored. To me, he took a nice step this year, and I expect the Ks to increase by 1-1.5 per start next year, and for him to be in the Twins rotation in 17 or 18. Until he actually fails, I see no reason to doubt he will succeed at some level.
  11. Wait, timeless was good? The unending previews looked so bad and predictable.... And Lethal Weapon? I would not have guessed that in a million years. Huh. Well, if I do start watching more tv, at least I apparently have some options.
  12. Wade is the kind of player often under rated....does everything well, makes contact w/o a ton of power, and plays defense. More and more we are realizing having no weaknesses (with no Elite skill) makes a very good player.
  13. Agreed, at this part of the list, I don't think anyone is "wrong"...just tiny differences.
  14. Ortiz will be in the top 5, probably the top 3, imo. Lots of love out there, and he was great at his job.
  15. Fangraphs recently said projecting Hu as a three was agressive, but that his slider was amazing, so who knows.... Seth, I'd have Garver over both Burdi and Palka.....maybe over Wade also. Actually, yes, over all three. So, there you have it, my answer from yesterday. Burdi needs to be healthy for me to rank him this high. Palka, I don't know if the can cut the strikeouts...how is his defense? Wade I really like, and think he has a chance for sure, a good chance, but he's not been young for his league yet. I'd probably have Garver around 9-11, and then Wade ahead of Burdi and Palka. But, I'm no expert at all...
  16. I took the OVER on the Twins? Idiot.
  17. Trout. He's the best player....
  18. Well, those numbers looked A LOT better when I typed them, than they do now!
  19. Garver will be a MLB catcher, I'm certain (barring injury)....imo, he should probably be higher ranked for that reason.
