    I was surprised about Diaz also. That was the one major surprise for me.

    I could never root for the Cleveland team....the fact I call them the CLE team should explain why. The Os are hard to explain. Like, fascinating in some ways. I am rooting for Toronto and the Cubs, I guess, but I'm not sure I care all that much.

    It is certainly frustrating. Over the last how many years.....the only pitchers they have drafted, or traded for, and developed that have had success are Gibson, Duffey, and ????. It really is all about this. Whether that is draft position, bad luck, or whatever.....they have pretty much relied on FAs the last couple of years, FAs purchased that had little upside (or none). It hasn't worked. Until they get even close to mediocre, the offense won't be good enough to matter, imo.

    The LHP with the long name week be 26/27 before he comes up? I hope the new regime doesn't waste RP and in the minors. But, that is a nit in an article I think is very well written with great info.

    Having recently moved, as bad as delta can be, Minneapolis might be one of the best places to fly from....but yes, being close to family is important and is likely a factor for any move.

    But that is not about coming to Minnesota....it would preclude any move...yet some here are convinced, apparently, that it is a Minnesota problem. Or, I am reading it wrong

    Agreed. Moving is hard at that age. I doubt all the top candidates would decline interviews over that, as some imply here over and over. Whether we are talking FO or FA.

    that and it is also (partially or fully) paid for by the government in some countries. The workers here make very little money. These people are educating and raising children.....perhaps we should put a bit more resources into that than we do.

    some day I'd love to read a short story about why they didn't play Polanco at SS in AAA, and then moved him to SS in the majors. IMO, if that was a real possibility, they probably should have played him at SS in AAA.

    It would really help the Twins run prevention if Buxton can hit at all next near, and stay healthy.....really help. Twins win today, 5-2. book it. like, all your money.....

    I'll be shocked if he pitches less than 140 innings next year, if healthy. Shocked. the 20% increase thing is a terrible piece of bad science.....

    Uh.....it was 2400 per customer, in fees alone, for those that incurred fees. That doesn't count any issues with credit scores changing, or anything else. if someone stole $2400 from you, would you want them prosecuted? should it matter, really? They committed fraud, and as I said, heads should roll up the chain more than they have.

    I too would probably mostly use Rogers against lefties, and not against really good righty HR hitters....

    Opening an account in someone's name is fraud. Every employee, supervisor and others should face prosecution, imo.
