    I expect YUGE deficits by year 2 and 3......so I'll be looking at what happens in those kinds of markets. I also expect a world wide recession in the next 4 years, not sure when.

    Centeno does nothing well. Why keep him, unless you are 100% promoting Garver and are going to let him play (hahahahaha, Molitor let a young guy play w/o an injury forcing his hand....hahahahaha).* *other than DanSan, of course

    "overpay"....that's the market price for players..... I have been asking the Twins to acquire Castro for 2 years....so I still hope that.

    Welcome to the site! Centeno is a terrible defensive catcher, and if Hughes pitches at all next year, I will be surprised. Finally, no way Dozier and a mid level prospect return Sale. If the Sox trade Sale, they are rebuilding.....not getting an older 2B.

    Well, that was a long, depressing read. All we need is some veterans, and Paul is a great manager. super. Did they even watch the bunting and base running and RP use at all? Did they not see him basically bench the future for Suzuki at the end of the year? Sigh. Adrian Beltre is a HoF player, sure, if that's the kind of veteran they want, great!

    Except you aren't making the decision w/o context..... What do you do with Sano if you sign Plouffe, or Mauer, or Park or Vargas or Palka or ABWIII? If you are giving up on Sano as a 3B, where does he play? DH? Then what do you do with Park and Vargas? 1B? When would Park or Vargas play, and how much does Mauer play/dh?

    Danny Santana and Grossman? No. No. No. They are both terrible MLB players, terrible. Mind. Boggling. Truly. I don't get the Plouffe thing. He won't be here when they are good. Sano should be trying 3B for half a year. If Sano fails at 3B, I would have signed a AAA type 3B as insurance.

    I'm still looking for someone that said full rebuild.... Ryan spent the last 5 years telling us they were going to compete, St. Peter did also. I just want honesty. Good leaders are honest. Not in a negative way, but they are honest.

    They have been the worst team, or near worst team, in the league for 4-5 years now, they aren't rebuilding?

    I would, otherwise they are lying and setting people up to be disappointed. Just admit you are rebuilding, and that your actions are all about putting the best team out there in the mean time, but our goal is to be great in 2 years.....

    If Mauer is on the roster, he should play 1B against nearly all righties....he is a very good defensive player.
