    On this team he's a backup, or trade bait, or backup. Are we not supposed to have this conversation in context of the Twins? I am aware of KATOH thinks (and man we are going to miss seeing KATOH, sigh), but that's not in context of his value to the Twins.

    Wanting a better backup has nothing to do with him getting more AAA at bats, unless people think he is working on things and can become a legit starter here somehow. Otherwise he only holds value as a backup here, or in a trade somehow.

    Good lineup/roster. two things would make it better for me (realistic things...) 1. If they had signed a veteran RH OF, and some were there for signing. 2. Ok, this one is less realistic, if they had traded for Realmuto I mean, sure, Darvish would be great, but when that didn't happen, Lynn was a better idea than relying on Hughes, imo. A WC contendor.

    People way overestimate the order, as having meaning. Other than trying to line up Berrios for Puerto Rico, it's random pretty much.

    I dismiss the likelihood, given how Kinley performed in AA last year, true. Not impossible, not likely.

    Buesnitz has options....that's part of his appeal to me. The team has set themselves up with very little flexibility in the pitching staff, the opposite of the Dodgers, for example.

    I did and didn't. I have some money in my IRA....so I've been "day trading" with it this week. Just buying AMZN when it drops, and then selling it. Worked today, not quite as well as earlier in the week. Oh, but the rest? crying emoji

    I think we are likely to disagree on the importance of every single person on the roster being useful.

    Because they are trying to win this year, not audition RPs. I get the logic, I don't agree with it.

    Because one was good in teh majors last year and one was mediocre in teh minors last year, and that's more indicative of future success than a few innings in spring training.
