    It's a young man's game more and more. I hope the Twins embrace that. We don't have much data yet on this front office, but Wade and Gordon in AA.... Versus Romero up.

    Good move by the front office. I'm impressed, since so many here said no mid market team would do this, when some were clamoring for it. I wish Phil Hughes all the best. Seems like a good human being.

    I agree. I posted as much up thread. We won't see Gordon this year, most likely. Then next year he'll be held down to start the year. My response was trying to explain what the poster meant, since that was the question asked.

    I didn't say it was an attack. I said I didn't read it the same way you did. And nothing in there says he isn't working to get better at hitting. Like, I don't read this the same way you do at all. Not even a tiny bit.

    I don't read it the same way as you and thrylos at all. I like he has an opinion, and don't think it means he doesn't care or isn't trying or whatever on offense. As for what is a better answer, that's kind of tied up in personality and emotion, not logic, so I don't know how we can say one is better or not.

    Agreed. Plus, Gordon is playing here next year.... Let's get him ready.

    I think the point is that the twins are rolling with adrianza, and not Gordon. And with Lamarre and Grossman, and not Wade or cave. And are playing Wilson half the time. I think that's the point.

    In context of this year, they need a really good two inning RP much more badly. The time of seven, even six, inning starts is at an end. Embrace the future!

    Slegers, Gonsalves, eventually Santana and Mejia can take Lynn's spot. And, Andrew Miller is worth more than a number four starter. Imo. What value does May provide this year, as a starter compared to those players? Imo, not more.

    Only one way to find out. There is not currently room in the rotation, and they need a Miller type. Him or Slegers.

    I'd certainly retire at this point. Having a functioning brain is was more important than whyever one would stay.

    Lynn was not a bad signing, not sure it was good. With Romero, Gonsalves, Slegers, and Mejia all available, and May coming back, it would be handy to have guys with options. And Santana will be back. The staff is filled with older players without options. When people talk about the dodgers using depth... The dodgers have some guys with options they can move around. That, to me, was the bad part about signing Lynn. I never wanted Lamarre on the roster. He's never been good, and probably never will be. I have no issue with Cave being up, other than it proves being left handed has nothing to do with Wade not coming up earlier. The front office has some some good things, and same real head scratcher things. I'm not convinced on them one way or the other yet.
