    I mean, if Gallo can't start against a RHP, he just shouldn't be on the team. Williams or Prato deserve chances, though I'm not sure Prato has played first, he has played left, IIRC, and third.

    I guess I could just say they hate the fans. And don't care about winning. If you make a claim, you need data, or something. Why is money more plausible than they didn't think the team was that great and wasn't worth investing prospect capital on?

    I don't see data that the reason they didn't add is money. That's what the article was about.

    I see no evidence of this supplied anywhere online. The easiest explanation is they didn't love the team, and didn't want to pay the cost of prospects. They seem to believe that Lewis will be back at third, and polanco can cover it until he comes back. RP is hard to predict. All that's simple to believe is the truth.

    They absolutely refuse to give the guys crushing AAA a chance. I'm 100% sure Julien would be there if polanco hadn't gotten hurt. Can't wait until they are fired.

    Fangraphs has the farm system in the middle, nowhere near the bottom. This team is light-years ahead of where it was under Ryan. That said, I'd fire them now. I'd definitely fire them if they miss the playoffs. They refuse to move on from their mistakes. The only reason Julien is up is because polanco was hurt twice. I have zero faith in their ability to build a complete team.
