  1. Farmer is a much better fielder.... But it's moot. Gallo starts again.
  2. I just don't get why they don't trust their development system to beat that. But they only promoted Julien due to injury, same with Wallner. Both of them were great in short stints, but sent down. It is, imo, a flaw in their thought process.
  3. Flabbergasted they will not move on from Gallo. Seriously.
  4. I hope this isn't another situation where they play short handed for five games, then IL a player..... Polanco to first, Farmer to third for now.
  5. An awful lot of people said Wallner struck out too much in the minors to get a shot. We'll never know, if they can play if they never get a shot. Gallo is terrible, we know that. We don't know if Williams, Larnach, Prato, Severino are.... All of whom should be practicing at first.
  6. DFA Gallo? DFA luplow?
  7. Kepler hurt his foot. Jeffers is a catcher and can't play every day. This isn't hard.
  8. Confirmation coming from all over according to the athletic
  9. Asamougha should be good. Should have played a lot more last year.
  10. Seems weird to try it against an actual good lefty..... Hope it works.
  11. It's unlikely that prospect is worth 9 million at this point. I can't see him on this roster next year without huge success the rest of the year. That said, they do love their veterans.
  12. I'm just not going to worry about it
  13. Not worried. Keuchel isn't starting a playoff game.
  14. If Kiriloff could stay healthy, this would be a different discussion, I think. Then more like sixty percent Max is back.
  15. Agreed. He'll be the starting RF next year, assuming he's healthy the rest of this year. Wallner in left. No idea who plays center.
  16. Ya. All he did was produce. That really should hold more weight. Very happy he's in Minnesota.
  17. I'm curious, do people really think fans would complain if they lost two world series games, or is that snark? I don't love how this FO seems unwilling to move on, see Gallo. They sent Julien down after polanco came back the first time. They refused to promote Wallner for months. It's like they don't trust their own system. Yet, the time guys are carrying this team, hitting wise. To answer the OP, of course they're back of they win a playoff series. And they should be.
  18. We're just not going to let Wallner or Julien hit against lefties..... That lineup is almost all backup quality players. They'll probably score a dozen.
  19. They weren't good the last two years, were they? In a terrible division. I'm confused how people accept that. They don't seem to trust their own player development. Results and process matter.
