  1. If they can't trade up, I'd deal down to get another 2nd or 3rd. 23 is a sweet spot for the CB class. I'd go DL, CB most likely, though I'd really like the center from Oregon State and then to deal Sullivan for a 4th/5th or 3rd next year, so I'd be tempted to do that at 23 even though I think you can get him 15 picks later.......I'd consider one of the OTs at 11, and moving them to OG, but I'm not sure I'd do that. If one of the top DTs is there at 11, I do that for sure, given the current room. But, I suspect they deal up and draft QB and don't pick again until the 4th round.
  2. Penix has one of the lowest percentages of sacked/pressured rates in years. He was pressured an insane amount of times in his last two years......just sayin'.
  3. Kepler was one of the best hitters in all of baseball for a couple months, and people think that's real after the last 4 years? I'm skeptical....
  4. Of the non Williams QBs, what order do you prefer them? Having never seen Maye or Daniels.... Daniels, Maye, then I'm unsure,
  5. Well, those picks come after round three, so it's stupid the NFL calls them third round picks. Ridiculous rumor has it NE did that as part of the deal to get Minnesota to include their real third round pick next year in the deal to trade up this year.
  6. Fields traded for a bag of balls. He's better than that.
  7. Or, there are rumors harbaugh wants to start over and to deal Herbert for a haul... And it isn't stupidity from posters here. But those rumors are insane, because of the cap hit they'd take.
  8. I'm not going to worry until May....I might not really worry at all...
  9. Never mind. 130 million cap hit to trade Herbert....
  10. I was so wrong about Herbert, sure would be great to have him here. They have plenty of cap space to play with after this year. JJ isn't going anywhere unless he says he won't sign.
  11. Surprised to wake up to this. I think they're trading up, but it wouldn't shock me if they keep these two picks either.
  12. There isn't much there, frankly
  13. DL Jerry Tillery signed (rotational / backup most likely).
  14. NFL investigating tampering charges in the signings of Barkely and Cousins....
  15. Not how I'd spend money, but I doubt it matters too much one way or the other.
  16. I'm not sure they are ignoring it.....they just have bigger holes right now? I mean, the choices weren't great in FA......If they can keep their 2nd round pick after trading up, I bet they deal down and pick up a 3rd and 4th and use one of those on an IOL (though I'd stay put and take BPA).
  17. The O's owner loves money, and not spending it, so that might hold them back some, but their FO and development staff are on fire the last few years, and are loaded, so we'll see....but yes, they are going to be great.
  18. And some fans whine that players have guaranteed contracts and don't show loyalty to teams. This is just example a billion of why labor should never do that.
  19. A lot of their success lies in Buxton being healthy, imo. While they have adequate backups, Buxton is a star when healthy. You don't just replace a star......I'm not worried long term, but this year? I'm not a fan of the Margo signing....
  20. I felt both these offensive players would be in Minnesota, so no surprise this morning there. Joseph likely being gone is fine with me. I'm guessing the Vikings deal up, and don't have a second round pick this year. McCarthy will be here, unless NE picks him.
  21. That's because most of the QBs are already taken before that.... Or taken much later. No one wants the team to be awful, but that's not the choice. The choice is taking a QB early by trading up, or taking Nix or Penix, or the other guy in round two at some point, likely trading up. Those are the choices.
  22. My bad, thought you were on that train. Well, he's gone now.....so I'm not sure what you expect. You want a good FA QB (good luck) and I have no idea your point on drafting one. It's done. He's gone. They'll sign a mediocre backup and draft a guy they want to start in 4-10 games or so.
