  1. "Remember that one game, can't remember who it was against, but he hit a home run. He can do it again....."
  2. If you are going to put Buxton in for D, you HAVE TO use him to PH for Santana earlier, right? Right?
  3. Not a great start, not a bad start. If he did that 2/3 of the time, I'd be pretty pleased in year 1 of his play. Maybe even half the time. Give them a shot to win half your starts as a rookie? I'm ok with that. Now, the O? Ummmmm. Sigh.
  4. fine for a catcher? He's 50th among catchers hitting this year. 50th.
  5. Almost certain I've seen it more than once....or maybe headlines in the OR and SEA papers?
  6. My biggest issue with this draft is I don't trust the GM at all
  7. I was told Vazquez threw out every baserunner and that's why he played...
  8. I said at the beginning 5-6 QBs go round 1, and I stand by that. Someone will trade back into round 1, or a team with an older QB will take Penix in the 20s....maybe even teens. Nix? I think he goes late round 2 when someone trades back in to take him. But he could go in the beginning of round 2 (Giants?).
  9. My fantasy is a top four QB and the second best DT . My expectation is a QB and hope.
  10. Did they trade for a QB yet? :) just start already. Oh, wait, still another day to go.....
  11. I've been begging them to use more high picks on pitchers. Let's hope he continues to progress.
  12. Wallner's arm really helped a ton last year also.....teams stopped trying to advance. I don't think people here realize how good he was on D last year, despite how he looks.....
  13. The Cubs also just designated veteran Garrett Cooper for assignment despite a rather productive 41 plate appearances to begin his season (.270/.341/.432, 118 wRC+). Cooper has punched out in more than 30% of his plate appearances and benefited from a .391 BABIP, which could be red flags for the Sox and other interested parties, however.
  14. As much as 35......but we'll see. I've been quite wrong on NFL salaries lately
  15. I'm expecting 7 years, announced at 33 million per year, give or take.
  16. Nine players hit .300 last year......that's why, imo, it is unrealistic to expect it.
  17. I'll be shocked if any twin hits near .300 on the year. Almost no one does that anymore. I remain hopeful on AK, but I'm not as certain as I'd like to be
