If you are looking for a fastball, and see a late break, you should be able to adjust your swing and try to get a piece of it. Not what guys are taught to do anymore :(

Guys are just taught to look for a pitch and then swing their swing. It's not just the Twins. I guess Larnach wasn't looking for a fastball, so he let it go. Even with two strikes, and the game on the line. I still can't get my mind around this type of hitting approach. (don't know for sure that's what happened, just a guess)
