    I don’t see the point of watching batters who are barely keeping up with AAA fail against MLB pitching.

    They don’t care about Ross, so they were willing to let him sit on the bench. Rodriguez got at least 40 more at-bats in AAA than he would have sitting on the Twins bench.

    I think they should cut Tristan Gray from the roster and give Houston a week in AAA. They could do the same with Banuelos and Diaw.

    They have one more chance to trade Joe Ryan this offseason. He will bring back less than he would have earlier, but it is still the right move for this franchise.

    Rojas was great this year. Quick needs to cut his walks in half if he wants to get promoted from Wichita.

    Culpepper, Jenkins, Matthews, Prielipp, Lee, Morris, Adams, Gomez, Funderburk, Clemens, Keaschall, Kreidler and Martin are all pre-arbitration players. That’s half the roster. They’re all playing. Rodriguez deserves a callup and Larnach should be benched. Beyond that I don’t see any moves that are necessary. Alan Roden deserves another chance but he would just take playing time away from Rodriguez, Jenkins or Keaschall. Is everyone super angry they haven’t brought back Eric Orze?

    They are trending toward another top 10 draft pick. Then a new prospect can disappoint all of us!

    400 mediocre AAA plate appearances told them plenty about what they have in Gonzalez.

    Yes, I cherry picked the stat that compares his overall performance this year versus league average. It is not a favorable comparison for Zebby.

    Gonzalez will actually play for the Saints instead of sitting on the bench for the Twins.

    If they can carry a useless 3rd catcher on the roster for the whole season, they can certainly carry Rodriguez, even if he doesn’t produce much at the plate. Heck, they seem to _like_ having a lousy extra outfielder on the roster.

    That never actually ends up being a problem. At least two will be injured at any given time.

    Not that much. Numbers like his don’t get big arbitration awards.
