  1. And still unplayable in the field. The Twins have enough LH platoon DH.
  2. Can we save the Wallner bashing for the games where he didn’t drive in all the team’s runs?
  3. The one where the Twins traded away an expensive season of a poor performing player?
  4. Roa would walk in a bunch of runs instead of giving up dingers. None of those pitchers will help.
  5. 822 OPS in AAA is not impressive. That says “do not promote”.
  6. If you send down Lewis to AAA your only choice to replace him is someone worse than Royce Lewis.
  7. Lee is most valuable as a utility infielder who can platoon with everybody in the infield. The Twins should be looking for a better bat at 1B if they want to contend.
  8. Out for the season. Twins win the trade.
  9. Why would a trip to the minors help? The only reason to do that would be to completely overhaul his swing. Culpepper is not impressing anyone so far. He’s hitting worse than Kreidler and Arcia.
  10. Do you know who has the highest OPS and highest batting average of any batter in St Paul? Royce Lewis. Would you rather see Kreidler or Orlando Arcia?
  11. Possibly, but I doubt we see Culpepper before September. He will probably not come up if there is a risk he burns an option in 2026. The club will want all three options available for 2027-29. His production on offense so far says he should stay in AAA. That gives Lewis the whole 2026 season to claim 3B for 2027.
  12. The Saints are in Las Vegas this week so there could be a lot of different reasons for that.
  13. Good idea for the minor leagues to get more innings out of your best pitching prospects. Minor league relief-only pitchers are generally roster filler with no future. It works because winning and losing is secondary to developing talent. That is not true in the major leagues.
  14. Scored a run, drove in a run, made his plays on defense. Nothing to get upset about.
  15. Olivar is 5’10” (probably measured in cleats) and has never played a game at 1B. This is his 3rd season in Wichita.
  16. Me too, but that’s probably his upside. The kind of guy who’s useful for the three option seasons, then gets passed around the league on waivers.
  17. I don’t think Ober and Ryan will be pitching innings for the Twins in August. Someone will need to.
  18. Dominance by the Twins bullpen and clutch hitting by Wallner, just like you would expect.
  19. I expect Outman would be just as useless as a pinch hitter. 76 OPS+ sucks but it beats the hell out of a 40 OPS+.
  20. Festa is looking more and more like someone with a chronic injury that has put his career in jeopardy.
