    Julien is one of the only players drafted that low to even make the major leagues. He has over performed compared to expectations on draft day.

    Outman has played 5 games for the Twins. They aren’t going to rotate in new players every 5 games. That would be an insane amount of roster churn.

    By next week someone here will be ready to cut him and bring up Payton Eeles. Heck, someone might have already said that and I missed it.

    There isn't much more to learn about Julien. He's plateaued as a baseball player. Sabato is hitting worse than Jonah Bride and Dashawn Keirsey in AAA. I am ambivalent about Cardenas. I do think Abel should come up. He doesn't have that much left to learn in AAA. I think Urena will be replaced with Lopez shortly.

    The only thing I liked about this season was TwinsTV streaming. Not thrilled to pay double the price for next season.

    Fangraphs says he's the worst batter (non-pitcher) in Twins history with > 90 PA. He's hitting .116 for his career with 33K against 2BB in 99PA but keep on hoping.

    Yes, and the likelihood is less than 40% of those 20 will. They'll find 6-8 guys out of 20 and hope they find another 6-8 guys out of 20 in 2027.

    In order to compete next season, they need three of Rodriguez, Gonzalez, Culpepper and Jenkins to force their way to the majors. I think one of the four might but expecting three to do it is unlikely. They also need Royce Lewis to hit, find a 1B and add three effective relievers. I think they will trade Joe Ryan and probably Bailey Ober as well, but I think they'll keep Pablo Lopez around as a mentor to the younger pitchers. I think Larnach is likely gone. Vazquez only returns if he signs for $1M. Their highest paid players would be Lopez ($22M), Buxton ($15M) and Jeffers ($9M). Lewis ($3M) and Topa ($2M) would be their only other players who make more than the minimum. That's an $82M payroll when you include the $10M they owe Correa. If they add veterans, I hope they add defense like they did with Bader. Lewis and Buxton are the only plus defenders on the roster.

    I heard a good interview with Toby Gardenhire about Prielipp. He said his stuff is great and he's getting ahead of batters but having trouble finishing them off. That will lead to higher pitch counts.

    No, I just assumed the original poster was using career numbers for everything. I suppose could have figured it out but I have a limited amount of time to fact check posts. I will still stand by my statement that he’s not one of the top 20 problems to solve.

    He's had 871 PAs and only had a chance to drive in runners in 58 of them in his entire career? That's crazy low for opportunities.

    Development time for your best players. Service time for players who aren't ready yet. Actual players from your organization because you have to cut someone to bring someone else up. If their talent evaluation process becomes "throw players at the wall and see which ones stick" then they all need to go.

    Trying to pull every slider away isn't helping Royce Lewis.

    To be fair to Clemens, 1B isn't even his best position. A 95 OPS+ is plenty good enough for a utility player, which is what Kody Clemens is. He's only an everyday 1B on this team because they're desperate. On a good team he's your 10th best position player on the roster. The fact that they have a utility player as their everyday starting 1B tells you all you need to know about the Twins offense.

    RBI are mostly about whether or not the players batting ahead of you have a high OBP.
