  1. There are a lot of assumptions based on ????? Wait and see I remember when Falvey and Lavine were going to lead us to the promised land. I don't know anything about Zoll and what he will do so no judgement or expectations for me.
  2. Please stop with the pipeline analogy - unless we think of sludge, This list was interesting and I was glad to read about them, but there isn't much promise here. And I am not a Winokur fan - I wish him well, but seeing him in person lowered expectations. When you get to the inevitable Outfield pipeline it will be a more interesting list.
  3. Falvey was going to be gone. Reading TD all these years he went from hope to bust in fan perspectives. What happened to Levine? In the end we traded Joe for Tom - does anyone see that as a 10 game improvement?
  4. Both the Twins and Vikings engaged in - " Releasing bad news or documents on a Friday afternoon in an attempt to avoid media scrutiny is often called a “Friday news dump” by members of the media. This timing is often chosen strategically, aiming to minimize media coverage, public attention, and potential scrutiny that may arise from the news being released."
  5. It isn't the split that fascinates me it's the timing. Like the Trump administration they chose a Friday afternoon, and so did the Vikings, to make this dramatic statement and change. Outside the new side the news cycle and over a weekend when people are distracted.
  6. It is not anger. I enjoyed the article - it is my feeling that these players are not generating enthusiasm and Sabato has been a disappointment since his draft so I don't see him getting ink except for ST.
  7. Not a comment on the deal, but a general disgust with the business of baseball - inflated salaries, owners playing games with fan loyalty. $6 illion - $13 million - it means nothing to me. To unrealistic for a social security senior. But I don't care about the money - they have - they spend it. Fine. But we are coming to a point where we need soccer leagues - the champion division and the hopefuls.
  8. Wow this article really got the emotions must be the tension we all feel in the bigger news. Poor Aaron - at least he got some ink
  9. How about dropping the pipeline nonsense and just give us a prospect ranking for each position. We have watched the pipeline dribble out Julien - bust. Keaschall - looks good so far but I see lots of questions about 2B We dripped Martin but no one lists him at 2B any more. Miranda - gone We just had a big pipeline explosion in Pine COUNTY I thought it must belong to the Twins
  10. We show interest the Sox sign him Guess they were more interested
  11. I thought this was supposed to be satire. My bells and whistles are on high alert.
  12. I can't decide if this is one of those articles just to keep us responding to TD or do you really think something so stupid is possible?
  13. All I can say is - at least we have another BP arm. Not much else to add.
  14. rankingss are interesting but don't mean anything. Just keep pushing prospects forward! Need and opportunity are more important than ranks
  15. I THINK YOU CHOSE THE KEY WORD They are vacuuming up hitless, no-field utility players
  16. How amazing is it that the twins have basically cornered the market in worthless utility players and mediocre catchers. Just keep moving them around like chairs on the deck. Maybe One will fall overboard. No bullpen just playing this little game at the end of the roster. Whoever said this gives us a backup for shortstop is obviously reading different tea leaves than I see. There's nothing in any of these that gives me a real sense that there's somebody who can fill in for Lee. But I do want to thank the twins because I really didn't realize how many of these utility players there were. And of course with her catching pipeline we can use this talent to keep shuffling through
  17. that Ober fell below him Festa, Zebby, SWR are in the rotation because no one has risen to push them out.
  18. The Twins strategy has been to stay afloat. Don't worry about rising too far, just give the fans the lottery hope - the odds are bad, but maybe...
  19. Next question What does success look like to the Twins owners and FO Does any other team see the Twins as a trade partner after Lopez and Ryan? why would another team want Larnach, Jackson, Outman...
  20. When I read about all the teams that you list looking for catchers I have to wonder why they didn't sign Caratini?
  21. My first thought was a JEFFERS trade. We are now loaded with mediocre 1B options, overloaded with C, and a bench full of non-hitting utility players plus a questionable BP What a roster.
