    Okay a name I never saw before - Vinny Nittoli - 30 years of age. Our newest discovery. Last night was reflective of his career - Vinny's record 2021 - 5 teams - in Seattle era 18 - 54 in St Paul after one game. Tacoma 5.61, two other minor league teams - 6.35. 2019 his era for a variety of teams - 3.80, 9.50, 5.49 We sign him and put him in AAA.

    We have reached a point in the season we're comments our difficult. I am delighted the Gordon is showing some life and I would like to see some other young batters given a chance to see if they can make it at the major league level like Miranda. Over is the only starting pitcher that has consistently shined and we hope Ryan will join him and demonstrating he can have quality over a number of starts. Otherwise the pitching is not inspiring and I would certainly rather see some of the young arms come up and show their capabilities rather than watching pictures who have a very low chance of contributing in the future take the starts.

    I was going to post something similar, but you nailed it. The right ups are crazy except for one terrible inning, at least he made it to the fourth, he pitched good to one batter. Come on. He stunk and he has stunk. This year he is not the answer. I hope he learns, but let's not describe what he has done as anything but terrible.

    That is the worst looking Major League rotation I could think of.

    The bubble burst - last game was a nice story, but Albers was not going to recover this game and there was no reason to make him suffer unless it was the old take one for the team so we can rest some of the BP.

    My surprise is Simmons. I watched him drop the ball on a perfect DP situation last night and I have seen other plays where he is not penalized, but shows lack of attention. I cannot see how he is so highly rated. He is a disappointment to me.

    I like the idea of using 22 as a year to experiment and develop our young pitchers. Use it so that in 23 we really know what we need. Concentrate on the BP with any signing. The BP has become as significant as the rotation in this era.

    It is sad and I am sorry to see this move. I loved my cards as a child and adult. Topps was tops and I liked it when Upper Deck pushed the envelop, but this just pushes cards to a new level that I do not want to be part of.

    Thank you - I did not know Shreve, do not remember reading about him so it is a nice surprise. After Barracloughs 10.80 era in three games with the Twins it would not have been right to have him win the month, but he does show the difficulty in projecting relief pitchers.

    Some of us Old bald guys can only look on with envy. Hat or no hat no locks will flow in the wind.

    Just work with the young arms - this has to be the future considering the FA record we have. We have enough that we should be able to develop 3 for 22.

    Ober would be my choice. A SP that does well with this team is something to celebrate and Ober has established that he is going to stay in the starting rotation - if it can even be called a rotation anymore.

    I would not include Sabato. There are many better lines than his. Power alone doesn't make it for me. I might even turn your listing upside down. The last guy on your list looks very good to me. So I'll take Boyd.

    Let's say that the Twins won one year, broke even this year and Graterol is 22 so the final grade is years away

    The most significant comment in a good post is the last line. Beating up the Cubs is like facing the Orioles refight now. So please explain - we beat the first place teams, we suck against the bad?

    Jim Bouton was 63 - 63 despite pitching for the yankees and had 7.5 War in 10 years. I expect more from Ryan. Keep the hair.

    Actually yes, if I understood it myself. Some third graders have an amazing grasp on math. get-ready-for-calculus-in-third-grade-kids This article might give you an idea why. Of course the inverse of your question is - would you have made Ken Griffey Jr go through the steps of minor leagues?

    Keep the hair, keep the swagger. This is exciting, even if his first appearance goes bad, he has made the jump and I think it will be a real boost to the team.

    I think it will be a pitcher. We have a number of pitcher prospects - too many to have them all in the rotation or pen in 2022. Who ever is left to develop will be number one.

    None of those starters look like they are ready for the Twins. Wow that hurts.

    He may have velocity gains, but he is not ready to be in next years rotation.
