  1. Wells almost got that one out.
  2. Yamamoto/Nola is a good pitching matchup. Glasnow/Sanchez tomorrow would be fun also if Phillies force Game 4.
  3. Go Blue Jays. Blue Jays/Mariners ALCS would be fun, but the Mariners will have to get through Skubal on Friday. Anything's better than another Dodgers/Yankees world series.
  4. George Lombard sounds interesting. I also like Ryan Flaherty. Someone who has been the second behind Counsel has definitely learned from one of the best. I hope that whoever takes over as the Twins manager will continue the aggressiveness that the Twins showed at the end of the year.
  5. Trea Turner tries to bunt to leadoff the first inning, and gets thrown out by Yamamoto on a pitch that was way inside
  6. I hadn't heard of Schlitter before the playoffs, but he looks legit.
  7. Can you blame them? Especially with Bellinger struggling in the postseason
  8. This is what tampers my enthusiasm for Luke Keaschall. I want to believe, and I have very little doubt about his hit tool, but if you go back to even Eddie Julien, who was drawing walks, and getting hits when he came up. After the 2023 season there were predictions of Julien competing for a batting title, and now he is not even playable. If you think back to when Royce was called up around the same time as Julien, he was hitting Grand Slams left and right, and it felt like everytime he came to bat he was doing something special. Royce Lewis is still a good player, but he is no where near where he was when he was called up.
  9. I think that Funderburk also deserves a mention. I agree with the sentiments that Ryan should be on this list. Even if you look back at the beginning of this year, we weren't sure what kind of pitcher he was. I know that his second half struggles lead to some questions, but he pitched like an ace for much of the 2025 season. Austin Martin would probably be number one for me because he was essentially dead in the eyes of most Twins fans, and now he will almost certainly be on the 2026 opening day Roster. He has great bat to ball skills, and while he is served best as a bench bat, he will have an important role in 2026 for the Twins, possibly as a starter.
  10. I have to say, this isn't someone who was on my radar. I do in theory like the idea of hiring a former catcher as manager because catchers always have to understand their pitchers, and opposing hitters. That perspective could help as a manager. I'm not sure what I think of Suzuki managing the Twins, but I am not entirely opposed to the idea.
  11. This really makes me miss the Royce Lewis of old. I don't know what happened to him, but hopefully a healthy offseason can help him recover some of his previous glory. There were some moment's this year, but imagine how much better the Twins would have been if they had had that Royce Lewis in this season.
  12. That is pretty much where I would put it. I would also add Kody Funderburk in as an honorable mention because he really solidified himself in the 2026 bullpen down the stretch. It wasn't a great year pitching wise aside for Ryan. I would also add Duran, Jax, Varland, Coulombe, and Stewart to this list. Oh, wait, never mind.
  13. I think that the payroll will probably be around 120 Million. A couple of middle to high end bullpen arms and a first basemen would be nice adds to supplement a decent core. I don't see the Twins contending for a championship next year, but with the rotation they have they could be a good team
  14. That was a good one. See you guys later
  15. I don't like having no automatic runner in the playoffs. I don't like the rule, but I think that consistency is important
  16. I don't know, the Brewers are a really hard team to take 3 of 4 from especially with their depth all the way through their roster
  17. Yeah, but they only had one game, not counting this one since then, a 1-0 loss to the Astros in 2022
  18. I think that most Twins fans know that Rocco wasn't the biggest problem in their collapse. It showed in the Athletic survey with 98.5 percent of fans calling for the team to be sold. If given the choice between firing Rocco, or replacing Derek Falvey, most Twins fans would probably chose to keep Rocco and replace Falvey. I don't think that Rocco was a terrible manager, but I do think that bringing in a new face in the managerial position could work to the benefit of the team. I hope that whoever takes over as the manager continues the increased aggressiveness that the Twins showed at the end of this year.
  19. Knowing the Twins, they will probably end up picking 8th anyway, but I am looking forward to the draft lottery, and hoping they manage a top 3 pick if only for financial reasons with added slot value that comes with a top pick
  20. I think that the L.V.P. should be someone who had high expectations coming in. If I had to choose one I would go with Bailey Ober, because coming in to the year he was one of the top 25 or so Starting Pitchers in baseball, and he was borderline unpitchable for a lot of the season. I am still optimistic that he will bounce back in 2026, but he is my choice for LVP this year. As for me I would go with Buxton, Ryan, and Jeffers, but Clemens and Keaschall were also very good in their time with the Twins this season.
  21. I'm trying to figure out how that is pronounced. Jrejory?
  22. A pro for the Twins that is not normally thought about is that Minnesota is a nice place to live, and decently affordable. We also have a very good farm system, but if I was a potential manager, I would be concerned about the ownership not spending enough money to support a young core. I know that the Rockies are terrible, but they are consistently pulling 30,000 fans to every game no matter how bad it is. If they were just a smidge better, I could easily see them being one of the top openings of these 8, but they are so bad, I don't know how much it matters. I would love for the Twins to bring in a former player like Morneau or Hunter. and if that can't happen. I would want a old school manager who is going to take control of the clubhouse, and not rely on the front office for everything.
  23. Thanks for letting me know. I was only counting those on the active roster which is why I didn't include Headrick and Gil. Luis Gil will definitely be added though.
