Yeah, and Walker Jenkins homered twice in the other game of the double header! (Emmanuel Rodriguez also homered in the first game so they each homered twice*) *Tristian Gray and Gabby Gonzalez also both hit two homers.

We know he has the power. It is just a question of whether he can keep the strikeout rate down and stay healthy on the field. He is out of options. I think he has a better chance of being called up than Jenkins does this season.

In the last 30 days, Alex Jackson is hitting .333 (4 for 12). If he had enough at-bats to qualify that would put him 5th in the American league in that stretch. His average on the season (.303) would put him top 10 in all of baseball. Just saying. 😀

No Jeffers today, but other than that I like today's lineup. I think it is okay to give Jeffers an occasional day off with him still recovering from the hamate bone injury. I love seeing Keaschall finding a home in the leadoff spot.

4.0 back in the division, 0.5 back in the Wild Card. Let's win today, get the sweep and maybe get in playoff position by the end of the day. Go Twins!
