  1. Franchies record for consecutive losses to any team is 13.
  2. No, they just don't understand the importance of having a third catcher who pinch-runs once a week.
  3. Beautiful article. I always look forward to reading your articles, Gregg. Thank you.
  4. Alex Jackson???? Why???? Also Keaschall leading off is interesting but it does make sense with his hot bat.
  5. I agree with keeping hope alive, but they are 6.0 games out of the Division. I think the WC is going to be the Twins only path to the playoffs this year.
  6. Bailey Ober: 5.73 ERA in his last 4 starts Zeby Matthews: 7.50 ERA in his last 5 starts Taj Bradley: 5.19 ERA in his last 6 starts Twins Bullpen ERA: 26th in baseball
  7. Martin Perez: 1.08 ERA in his last 5 starts Tyler Mahle: 2.83 ERA in his last 5 starts Chris Sale: 2.16 ERA on the season. Braves Bullpen ERA: 6th in baseball Twins will have to hit good pitching to win this series.
  8. Luke may not be the prototypical DH, but he can't play anywhere on the field.
  9. Just about now, the MLB official who chose the Twins for this game is getting fired.
  10. High pitch count for Bradley. Good to see him get the 1 pitch out vs. Bohm
  11. Kaelen Culpepper seems too content to take a first-pitch strike. Nola threw him an 85 mph fastball middle-middle and he let it by him. Sometimes the first pitch is going to be the best one you will get in the at-bat.
  12. I don't really understand why everybody is so down on Tait. I know his batting average isn't great, but his 162 game pace would have him hitting 33 home runs. His batting average isn't great, but he is only 19 years old at High-A. Vahn Lackey has been slow out of the gates, but if he is promoted to Cedar Rapids I think Tait has a small chance to move up to AA pushing Diaw up to AAA.
  13. The Twins have won Bailey Ober's last 4 starts. Hopefully they can keep that streak going and take the series tonight.
  14. Kremer trade is looking good. He was good on the post-game radio broadcast too.
  15. He's the player who sits bench on Varsity and only gets garbage minutes.
  16. Yeah, but we don't need starters. Barring injuries and trades, we already have Lopez, Ryan, Abel, Bradley, Ober, Kremer, Prielipp, Festa and Matthews as potential starters. I would have liked to see them get him at the trade deadline this year, but I don't think he fits next years plan. Then again, if they get him, I won't be mad at all.
