Honestly, I never even scrolled down so I didn't know they had projections for salaries. Because of that, I was using a different website which obviously had the projections very low. Thanks for telling me. I wouldn't be shocked though if some of those numbers turned out a bit high due to concerns over the lockout.

One that suprised me was Brice Turang being a finalist for MVP in the National League. He had a great season, but he was 6th in the NL in F-War and his numbers don't jump out to you that much. He would definitely be on my ballot somewhere, but probably not as high as third. Pete-Crow Armstrong should win that one running away anyway. Another thing that jumped out to me was that 3 of the 6 finalists on the Reliever of the Year list were former Twins and were traded away by the Twins. I also would have liked to see Cam Schlitter as a finalist for the AL MVP, but I understand the people who are against having pitchers on MVP lists. Curious to here your thoughts and takeaways. Winners are announced next week starting on Nov 9

Love it. I really don't see the downside here. Most likely, he will decline it and score the Twins a high draft pick. If he does accept it then they have their catcher problem solved just like that. Ideally I would love for him to accept it because I think it provides a good bridge for hopefully Vahn Lackey stepping forward in 2028, but I doubt that will happen. The last time the Twins extend a qualifying offer to a player was in 2023 to Sonny Gray. Gray declined it and the Twins got the 33rd pick in the draft and used it to draft Kyle DeBarge who is currently at AA.

I would love to see the Twins shoot a little higher in the Catcher ranks than Freddy Fermin or Luis Campusano as mentioned by @Whammy. In my blueprint I had them signing Carson Kelly to a 2y deal worth roughly 7-8 million a year. I just don't think that the Twins can be serious contenders with Victor Caratini being the starting catcher. That is just my opinion however.

I think this team is definitely favored to win the AL Central. Strong Rotation and if the young guys take a step forward we could have a good lineup again. Kelly and France provide good veteran leadership. Definitely Over Budget, but I would love to see this happen. Bullpen seems pretty strong as well. Don't know how realistic this is, but would love to see this happen. I have Abel and Matthews waiting in AAA for the inevitble injury and both playing big roles down the stretch. I would have voted for Pablo, but I don't think it helped his case much that he wasn't able to play at all this season.

I really hope we don't get a rule for outfield shifts. It seems pretty nit-picky to me.

Chourio goes deep first pitch off of Blake Snell. Brewers up 1-0, but Snell recovers and strikes out next three hitters in order. Cheering for the Brewers but hoping this series goes at least 6 games.

Gavin Williams is nasty.

RIley Quick was also dealing with a recurring blister issue pretty much the entire year. I think that could have something to do with his off-speed. It was preventing him from throwing off-speed pitches fully for a stretch. I think fully healthy he could take a huge step forward next year and maybe make an impact for the major league team in late 2027.

Brewers/Dodgers running it back. Hopefully this one goes a little bit better for Milwaukee. It will probably be Misirowski/Skubal in Game 1. That seems like a much watch game.
