  1. I just watched the replay of the Frelick double play. Wow, that was something.
  2. This is every kid's dream. It's the championship series. The bases are loaded, two outs, down by one run, and here's the pitch . . .
  3. Let's be real, Gleeman didn't delete anything.
  4. As of now Roch Cholowski is the clear number 1 overall pick. Granted, a lot can change between now and July, but as of now if the Twins miss out on him, I would prefer they pick up an elite college pitcher who can quickly ascend to Majors. Cam Flukey from Coastal Carolina and Liam Peterson from Florida are both of interest to me if the Twins aren't picking number one.
  5. So the Nationals figured out how not to pay players? Don't let the Pohlad's find about out that.
  6. Remind me again why we added a automatic runner? Mariners/Tigers yesterday was really fun.
  7. That's a needed insurance run for the Brewers. Both teams are running out of relief pitchers, so it would be a problem for both teams if this goes to extras.
  8. Just checking back in, Misiorowski has been great in the postseason despite struggling in the second half of the season. The Cubs have really leaned in to Theilbar this postseason, and this series especially, and he has produced. I know that a lot of Twins fans have bad memories with him, but he could be a good add on a one year deal to add a veteran to a bullpen that will need some help.
  9. Brewers/Cubs game 5. I'll be cheering for whoever wins this game over the Dodgers, but I'm rooting for the Brewers today.
  10. I think that Bailey Ober needs to be on this list. He was unpitchable in much of the season despite coming into the season with very high expectations. He was the pitcher that the Twins were going to hang their hat on, as someone they had developed into a number two starter, but a 5.10 ERA, and a 1.30 WHIP is not what was expected at the beginning of the year, or what you want from anything other than a number five starter. To be completely honest with you, I had forgotten that Miranda had even appeared on the Twins this season which shows how much he has fallen from relevance for the Twins.
  11. You have to keep him. He is one of the only semi-proven bullpen arms you have. Building a bullpen will be hard enough even with keeping him. Funderburk and Sands are the two main pieces right now in the bullpen.
  12. Wow, this was a great game. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mariners have some trouble in the ALCS after using all those pitchers, but I'll be cheering for them.
  13. He's still listed on the playoff roster, so I don't think there is an injury. He has yet to have a plate appearance with them in the postseason. He batted .170 with a .485 OPS in his time with the Cubs, so he hasn't exactly earned a starting role
  14. I'm cheering for the Brewers in the NLDS, but if the Cubs win, I will still cheer for them over the Dodgers.
  15. Andy is Aaron's uncle
  16. That might come back to bite the Cubs. The Brewers aren't shut out often.
  17. Big strikeout for Aaron Ashby
  18. So long as you're eating it, and not me, that sounds good.
  19. Wow, you got to feel for Kerkering on that one. The Dodgers keep finding a way to win one way or another. I thought for a bit the Phillies could pull of the win. I'm cheering for whoever wins between the Brewers and Cubs to beat the Dodgers.
  20. Blue Jays/Brewers or Mariners/Brewers would be a big improvement from Dodgers/Yankees in the World Series.
  21. As much as I dislike the Dodgers, they are a hard team to bet against in October. The bullpen isn't phenomenal, but if you spend $350 million dollars a year, you can build a great lineup, and a rotation of Ohtani, Yamamoto, Glasnow, and Snell is really hard to beat.
  22. Kody appeared to unlock something in the second half. If he continues that into next season, the Twins will have a much needed high end bullpen arm. The Twins will have to build a bullpen in 2026, and as of now Kody is probably the arm from the 2025 pen that I trust the most. They will need him to be good in 26.
  23. Future Twins manager Aaron Boone, you mean.
  24. Go Blue Jays
  25. When the Yankees added Doval and Bednar at the trade deadline, they were supposed to have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Their bullpen is really having troubles today, and towards the end of the year.
