  1. Big strikeout for Aaron Ashby
  2. So long as you're eating it, and not me, that sounds good.
  3. Wow, you got to feel for Kerkering on that one. The Dodgers keep finding a way to win one way or another. I thought for a bit the Phillies could pull of the win. I'm cheering for whoever wins between the Brewers and Cubs to beat the Dodgers.
  4. Blue Jays/Brewers or Mariners/Brewers would be a big improvement from Dodgers/Yankees in the World Series.
  5. As much as I dislike the Dodgers, they are a hard team to bet against in October. The bullpen isn't phenomenal, but if you spend $350 million dollars a year, you can build a great lineup, and a rotation of Ohtani, Yamamoto, Glasnow, and Snell is really hard to beat.
  6. Kody appeared to unlock something in the second half. If he continues that into next season, the Twins will have a much needed high end bullpen arm. The Twins will have to build a bullpen in 2026, and as of now Kody is probably the arm from the 2025 pen that I trust the most. They will need him to be good in 26.
  7. Future Twins manager Aaron Boone, you mean.
  8. Go Blue Jays
  9. When the Yankees added Doval and Bednar at the trade deadline, they were supposed to have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Their bullpen is really having troubles today, and towards the end of the year.
  10. Wells almost got that one out.
  11. Yamamoto/Nola is a good pitching matchup. Glasnow/Sanchez tomorrow would be fun also if Phillies force Game 4.
  12. Go Blue Jays. Blue Jays/Mariners ALCS would be fun, but the Mariners will have to get through Skubal on Friday. Anything's better than another Dodgers/Yankees world series.
  13. George Lombard sounds interesting. I also like Ryan Flaherty. Someone who has been the second behind Counsel has definitely learned from one of the best. I hope that whoever takes over as the Twins manager will continue the aggressiveness that the Twins showed at the end of the year.
  14. Trea Turner tries to bunt to leadoff the first inning, and gets thrown out by Yamamoto on a pitch that was way inside
  15. I hadn't heard of Schlitter before the playoffs, but he looks legit.
  16. Can you blame them? Especially with Bellinger struggling in the postseason
  17. This is what tampers my enthusiasm for Luke Keaschall. I want to believe, and I have very little doubt about his hit tool, but if you go back to even Eddie Julien, who was drawing walks, and getting hits when he came up. After the 2023 season there were predictions of Julien competing for a batting title, and now he is not even playable. If you think back to when Royce was called up around the same time as Julien, he was hitting Grand Slams left and right, and it felt like everytime he came to bat he was doing something special. Royce Lewis is still a good player, but he is no where near where he was when he was called up.
  18. I think that Funderburk also deserves a mention. I agree with the sentiments that Ryan should be on this list. Even if you look back at the beginning of this year, we weren't sure what kind of pitcher he was. I know that his second half struggles lead to some questions, but he pitched like an ace for much of the 2025 season. Austin Martin would probably be number one for me because he was essentially dead in the eyes of most Twins fans, and now he will almost certainly be on the 2026 opening day Roster. He has great bat to ball skills, and while he is served best as a bench bat, he will have an important role in 2026 for the Twins, possibly as a starter.
  19. I have to say, this isn't someone who was on my radar. I do in theory like the idea of hiring a former catcher as manager because catchers always have to understand their pitchers, and opposing hitters. That perspective could help as a manager. I'm not sure what I think of Suzuki managing the Twins, but I am not entirely opposed to the idea.
  20. This really makes me miss the Royce Lewis of old. I don't know what happened to him, but hopefully a healthy offseason can help him recover some of his previous glory. There were some moment's this year, but imagine how much better the Twins would have been if they had had that Royce Lewis in this season.
  21. That is pretty much where I would put it. I would also add Kody Funderburk in as an honorable mention because he really solidified himself in the 2026 bullpen down the stretch. It wasn't a great year pitching wise aside for Ryan. I would also add Duran, Jax, Varland, Coulombe, and Stewart to this list. Oh, wait, never mind.
  22. I think that the payroll will probably be around 120 Million. A couple of middle to high end bullpen arms and a first basemen would be nice adds to supplement a decent core. I don't see the Twins contending for a championship next year, but with the rotation they have they could be a good team
  23. That was a good one. See you guys later
  24. I don't like having no automatic runner in the playoffs. I don't like the rule, but I think that consistency is important
