  1. Let's go Mauer clap clap clapclapclap
  2. Frazier reaches up and finds a ball in his glove. &$^#^@
  3. Wow. That was a fun popup for our side.
  4. True, but one got netting in front of the right field stands and the other hit the center field wall, so...come on.
  5. He was only off by inches, I mean feet, ok a couple of yards.
  6. All right boys, here we go. Time to set a tone for the rest of the season: "This shall not stand."
  7. Never over 'til it's over, get on base. On the other hand...what's up with Oriole hitters smacking our catchers with a bat? If there's something that deserves some yapping, and maybe a couple of inside fastballs, that's my choice.
  8. Only two wild pitches so far from Duke...two batters. Hmmm...
  9. Holy crap am I excited for this season to start. Go Twins!
  10. "Key Losses: C Chris Gimenez, LHP Hector Santiago, LHP Glen Perkins" You know, I think we can probably shrug that off...
  11. I think in a case like this, the trainer's name should be announced so that other players know who they might want to avoid. If the trainer denies it, fine, but let's air all this out. Players deserve to know. If they blame their trainer wrongly, let the trainer sue them. This will never stop otherwise.
  12. How did a foul ball to the chin result in a rod being inserted in his leg? EDIT- shin, got it. I do believe that leg injuries might be more easily aggravated when that leg is propping up a large body compared to a small body, but that's just a guess...
  13. Thanks- I'd characterize that as however long it takes to show he's back to pre-injury form. That makes sense to me.
  14. Fair enough- what do you think constitutes "proving himself" for a prospect? Two full seasons somewhere? A year at AA or above? I'm never quite sure where that line is for myself and it's interesting to hear what others use. The age-old potential vs. track record debate, I suppose. Anyway, just wondering what your personal stance is on that.
  15. Agreed with above, another Matt Lawton would be a nice piece to have.
  16. MLB.com lists Wander Javier as one of "12 prospects who just missed the top 100", saying "Javier could shoot up the top shortstops list in a hurry." https://www.mlb.com/news/12-prospects-who-just-missed-the-top-100-list/c-265553816
  17. Plus we've done pretty well trading for and trading him, so I'm willing to get back into that market.
  18. Agreed, though I think it might be more accurate to say that he hits well off the Twins. Even a better reason not to sign him!
  19. Eddie Rosario: figure out when to either hit the cutoff man or just throw to second to keep the runner from advancing. Then go to the All-Star game.
