    The biggest problem is the remaining payroll.They have 50+% going to 3 players.They now have to do one of 2 things,increase the payroll or trade players.If you give Castro the 6.2 million that is almost 10% of the remaining payroll.So basically you now have to fill 22 roster spots with the remaining 40% which is going to be hard to do.This team would have a hard time competing in the much improved division.

    This team's mentality is swing for the fences not playing baseball.There are players on this roster who should be table setters,but aren't.I do remember Jeffers changing his approach with 2 strikes,never heard anyone else doing that.Then why would baserunning fundamentals be needed.It is the same thing with defense,when you rotate players all over the field,fundamentals aren't necessarily.

    The problem this team has is a FO who put all their eggs in 3 baskets.You now have over 50% of the payroll tied up in a pitcher who pitches every 5th day.And a SS and CF that can't stay on the field.They have not given the team what is needed to be successful.The whole team has had a issue with health and are now a year older.People want Santana and Castro gone when they were the only 2 available to play every day.The whole medical and conditioning staff needs to be replaced.The program that is being employed isn't working.

    Gold Glove and lead the team in HR and RBI.Maybe it is time for tryouts at all the other positions.

    Eloise loved the team,but when she was gone so was the love.I think everyone in the USA would invest 195 million to have other people give 360 million to give them a stadium.And now they will walk away with about 1.5 billion,life is good if you're last name is Polhad.With any luck when a new owner takes control they waste little time cleaning house.

    He deserves to be 1,but now this could be a problem for the team.He said he wants to be a SP.He is great in the BP because he can let it fly.The last time he pitched in a second inning he was lite up.To be a SP you need to be more of a control pitcher not a let it fly guy.

    He is not getting traded,two teams said no because of an ankle.He now has feet not foot issues as well.It is a problem the Twins are stuck with for 4 more years.And to make things worse Falvey said that he is involved in who they bring in as hitting coaches.What he should be doing is finding options to solve the problems with his feet,because he is needed on the field.You can't have your highest payed player missing half the season.

    Hard to have good defense when the only position in the infield that was consistent was 1st base.Because Julien couldn't hit 6 different 2nd baseman played.And 3rd base was no better when Lewis was lost day one.Only Rocco and Falvey think they have 12 platoon players on the bench.Yes the team had injuries,but pick someone to play a position for more than one game at a time.Moving on to the outfield LF and CF had basically all the same problems.And everyone who fellows this team knows that Buxton would have a tuff time making it through the season.

    No one is talking about Ryan here or any where in regards to if or when he will be back.Until he is on the mound actually throwing pitches,he is still a question mark.So at this point in time the starting 5 are the same as they ended the season with.Why is this organization so against having a LH starter.

    Why is it that people want to keep dead arm pitchers taking up valuable roster spots.This team needs pitchers who can pitch not waiting around to see if and when they can pitch.With limited payroll like everyone keeps reminding us about how about paying pitchers who pitch not just stand around in the dugout.We also have way to many players doing the same thing.This team should be blowing things up and going a different direction.

    The injury excuse really is getting old,both Atlanta and Cleveland lost pitching and players.Guess what they made the playoffs.Both the Mets and Cleveland have rookie managers and are in the playoffs.Rocco has zero imagination,how many times do you have to see a player fail as a PHer.The analytics can't be the end all be all.The organization has a poor plan for success and will not make any improvement with Rocco at the helm.

    This whole thing started long ago when Falvey and Levine wanted to make a slash signing Donaldson.He is and was one of the worst signing of all times.After dumping him for a bad defensive catcher and a 3rd baseman who did surprise people.They bring in a SS from a team that cheated to get a championship.Who then ops out of the contract to get more money.To turn around and sign for more money with said team after failing 2 physicals.Now they are stuck with said player for 4 more years and his bad feet.And don't forget about a broken down CF who everyone gets all excited to see play 100 games of 162 game season.Looking at the team payroll that is 40% of the money available.So why is Falvey still aloud to stay,he should have been shown the door long ago.

    Team has 3 players with bad backs in AK,Lee and Miranda.So who will be the first to go down with a injury.The problem with that is you favor one thing and create another.If he has a option left have him start the season in St.Paul.He can play 1st there and some LF to see if he can stay on the field.He has missed significant time,so may need that time.I also think he is not a Major League 1st baseman at this time.

    With Levine leaving it is probably more in line with a rat leaving a sinking ship. With Francona going with the Reds you will probably see Carl Willis make the move as well once Cleveland is eliminated.That would be a move that would improve their pitching staff.

    Don't worry the ticket prices will be going up for the same crap we saw this year next year.Rocco is who he is and manage the way he always has.

    This whole operation gets a F- because both the Tigers and the Royals are moving on in the playoffs.And all the Twins are moving on to the back 9 at the golf course.

    All this shows is this is a minor league organization trying to be something they aren't.And the pajama looking city connect uniforms need to be put in the trash,they are bad luck.

    Prime example is Lee who came up tearing the cover off the ball.Then after a couple of weeks was lost at the plate.This team will not be any better next year with no changes in management.You have half the team that should be table setters who think they're homerun hitters.Everyone gets all excited to see Buxton come up to pull the ball into the seats,but strikes out instead.He is far more dangerous when he is on base.This team refuses to play baseball,only wants to play homerun.

    This is what happens when you sign part time players to big dollar contracts.It is not as bad as the really dumb signing of Donaldson who didn't fit the team.When you spend 40% of your payroll on 2 players you end up with the 2024 Twins.Ok Buxton played 100+ games this year for the first time since 2017.If you need a backup SS and CF for 60 to 80 games it becomes a problem.Problems cost money that now takes away from other needs.This organization is not being run in a manner that can or will ever see a championship.

    Now that I know no changes being made by the Twins.It has become time for a change by me.As a fan who has been one for 60+ years I'm moving on.I live in NW Arkansas and think it's time to move my loyalty to the Royals.

    Every position player on the team but Buxton and Correa played multiple positions.Why didn't they,how about Buxton at SS and Correa in CF.This team is a mess and probably will be next year as well.They went from 17 games over 500 to 1 game over in a month.Clean house or suffer the consequences next year.But we all know ticket prices will be going up next year.

    They now have RF open for the revolving door position that they want.As long as the FO and Rocco are there they will have a team of chess pieces.It is a team that is unwatchable at this.It makes me sad because I have been a fan since day one.I have lived in 7 different states but still find a way to watch.Max is a team player who covered RF very well and had some big games just not enough.We will now see 3-6 different RF play the position next year and beyond if Rocco is the manager.

    Hard to work on fielding when you come to work not knowing what position you will be playing that day.Rocco believes he has 10 utility players on the bench.I remember him not being happy because Kepler told him he wanted to play only RF.If this organization stays pat with this FO and manager 2025 will be more of the same.Players have routines they work on every day and don't like changing.All the team's left in the playoffs don't move players like chess pieces.

    Hard to know how to run the bases when the plan is hit a homerun.They are coached to swing for the fences and that is all the fans want to see.Then of course just listen to the Clowns in the booth talk about this guy or that guy is he going to be the one hit the homerun.
