I'm gonna go out on a limb...and predict that the Dobber gets into the game tonight, probably in the 3rd or 4th inning...after Festa implodes and we're down 5-6 runs or so. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

Can they throw in Dave St Peter, to sweeten...and I use the term VERY loosely...a potential deal?
  3. CRF
Three and a half hours left for them to do nothing, other than try and appease us by bringing The Dobber back. At least today's good news is...Miranda is supposed to be back.
  4. CRF
In addition to Rodney, don't forget about Randy...he could be the difference maker!😜
  5. CRF
Uh...no thanks. Just do nothing, like everyone expects, and get on with the rest of the season.
  6. CRF
All hope is not lost...Dobnak is on the way! There's your deadline deal!
  7. CRF
Yeah...if those are the options/choices...we might as well just do nothing...which is what's probably gonna happen anyway.
  8. CRF
Nothing should be off the table...ever.

With Festa going tonight, last nights bullpen usage could be real problematic. He needs to somehow keep us in the game and give us 5 or 6 decent innings.
  10. CRF
    Very good article.

    I like them too...it's the manager I don't like.
  12. CRF
They're gonna do nothing...and then give us a sob story about how they REALLY tried to make a couple deals, but they didn't pan out.

Very few ownership groups, in any sport, understand that in order to make money, and continue to make money, they have to spend it on their teams occasionally. That's what generates interest and brings fans to the stadiums, sells merch, etc. They have to show fans that they're willing to spend and upgrade the team. That doesn't mean blow the luxury tax out of the water, but show that they want to win. No one believes billionaires crying poverty. It's a bad look.
  14. CRF
    No...Atteberry never shuts up.
  15. CRF
Just read that he passed the initial concussion protocol test. So good news so far.

Maybe the Tigers will trade Skubal before the game tonight, and we get to miss facing him. Stranger things have happened.
  17. CRF
Nice win! It'll be a little tougher game tonight with Skubal going for Detroit. Ryan needs to be at the top of his game.
  18. CRF
    Looks like Caleb time.
  19. CRF
Being stubborn is one thing...being stupid is a completely different problem.
  20. CRF
Lewis probably back in the lineup. He was activated today. Hopefully he STAYS in the lineup the rest of the way. Miranda will be back soon too.
  21. CRF
Sure...just what I wanna do...give a billionaire more moolah. Where do I sign up?
  22. CRF
Probably not...but his manager is certainly allergic to stop trying to use him in the PH role.
  23. CRF
They can get rid of any/all those guys...except for Wallner.
  24. CRF
    Thank you.
  25. CRF
Eddie needs to stop playing statue. Just go up there...and swing at EVERYTHING!
