    What's the protocol for the city connect uni's? I thought I read somewhere that they were going to be worn only on Friday games. Just wondering. I must be getting used to them because they don't seem as bad as I originally thought they were.

    You can throw all the metrics/analytics at me, whenever/wherever you want, about whomever you want, and it doesn't make any difference. Go ahead, feel free. I'm too old to understand 99% of it anyway. I know what I can see, and that's all that matters to me. There's no way you could ever convince me, that Margot deserves to be on this roster. There HAS to be a kid in AAA, AA, or even A ball...that can do everything that Margot does...and he sure doesn't do much...at a fraction of what this FO is paying Margot. They're so concerned about payroll, but they piss money away on stiffs like good old Manny, over a young guy. Rocco must love the guy though, because he trots him out there every time a lefty is pitching, and he uses him pinch hitting all the time too. He's like what...0 for the season as a PH. Rocco even thinks he's a suitable defensive replacement, which is so far out there it isn't even funny.

    I thought maybe...just maybe...Pablo might have figured some stuff out after his last two starts. Last night was more proof that he hasn't. This is looking more and more like kind of a lost season for him. Great comeback in the 9th, but it was too much of a mountain. Get them today with Ryan on the hill.

    I'd agree with your assessment on these. Not really a whole lot to be proud of on any of them. Romo was ok for a little while, but he was just about toast when we got him. Fulmer wasn't anything special. Decent, that's all. The rest were losers. Falvey needs to do better.

    With the forecast and the looks of the radar, there's zero chance this game goes 9 today. They'll probably wait a couple hours then call it. All that matters is we got another series win. Just keep doing that and we'll be ok.

    Festa looks like he's in a bit over his head right now. I'd give him one more start and see if it turns out any better than his first two. If not, it's back to StP.
