Is no one going to question leaving Sano off of the roster? I get that he looked rusty over the weekend. But can't find a single person coming to his defense? He was the team MVP, heart of the order, feared bat for half of the season (the half the Twins were in first place), is a very patient hittter, and the Yankees' closer is a lefty. I don't know, I would have found a spot for him. Even if it was a decoy to mess with Girardi's head. You can't tell me the Yankees aren't relieved to see him not on the list.
