Yes, hitting coach please! Excellent leader and positive role model for the young hitters in the locker room.

Nick Gordon has been a fun player to watch this season! Happy to see him stepping it up!
  3. Mortimerkenny21
My feelings exactly! Blue Jays would be alright too, hope for Seattle though. No Atsro's either!

    Jake Cave, AKA The Hustler!
  5. Mortimerkenny21
I'd say keep him for a few more year's, he has proven himself. Don't have to worry about his defense at 3rd. He is stability to a team full of instability and injuries.

    Holy mackerel!
  7. Mortimerkenny21
Yeah that could be pretty difficult to get him to make an appearance. Pretty reclusive these day's from what I hear.

It would have been cool if Barf was at bark in the park!

It sucks and/or blows..but it was exciting to see them at least put up a fight. I'll still watch even though there is no hope for this year. The Twins are who we though they are, not very good! The Gaurdindians are just a better team. I'll only root for them in the playoffs if they are playing the Yankees, maybe the Astros too.

No one ever says "I want to be an armchair GM when I grow up."

Congrats Nick Gordon, GS, 6 RBIs unreal!!! Gary Sanchez moon shot, and Jake Cave HR! You just never know in baseball. Cave man has been on a tear too!

Good write up! Interesting win. Let's have some big innings early in the game today and take care of business!

the bases were juiced. I love it when the bases are juiced, and love it even more when the Twins capitalize on said juicy bases! Way to go Celestino on smashing a super clutch double!

Worried about misspellings, coming from "terrydactyls"? I know just a joke, just having fun!
  15. Mortimerkenny21
Oooofffdaahhh!! That was a tight one!! Good job by Bundy and the bullpen to keep the Rangers mostly shut down! Our other star players bats need to wake up.
  16. Mortimerkenny21
I'd say watch him the rest of the season, and next season if he continues to excel even with league adjustments then lock him down! May cost a bit more but should be worth it too! He's a really fun player to watch along with Arraez and shows a lot of promise for the Twins future!

    Baseball is weird.

If they Twins don't find room for him at the back end of the rotation it sounds like he would be solid as a reliever too. Which even with our recent improvement's through trade in the BP it would certainly help to have another quality arm!

How did this turn into a debate about portly humans?! Lol
  20. Mortimerkenny21
Nice well rounded win! Was refreshing to see a game that wasn't super high stress and not sitting there cursing because a 4 run lead is slipping through our fingers! Miranda & Gordon have been carrying the team in offense, but nice to see a few others hitting last night too! I know today's game looks a little ominous with lacking options in the bullpen and Archer not usually going past 4 innings, but we've been surprised before! Screw it lets go for the win, take 3 of 4! Grip & rip!!
  21. Mortimerkenny21
Yeah it's not a dig, I'm sure he hadn't just reacted yet or was reserved about it. I'm sure he was pleased about a 3 run blast! And yeah Mr. Green shirt might be a Jays fan, not as impressed as the other folks.
  22. Mortimerkenny21
Cave and fans in amazement! Rocco..unaware. Maybe he was pumped one second later, but just looks funny! Love the guy in the black shirt with glasses! lol
  23. Mortimerkenny21
Farewell Doof, hope you get a few more shots out there in the big league.
  24. Mortimerkenny21
I totally agree with this! It's exciting now and is going to be fun to watch this year. But 2023 could really be an exciting year if this is how the stars line up! It was refreshing to see moves being made, and the exact moves that every Twins has been screaming for every time the bullpen blows a lead!

Hopefully we'll be so excited with upcoming trade news that we will want to do the tube snake boogie!
