That was an intriguing first round, it felt like picks #11-18 were all weird reaches and left a lot of talent on the board... and then the Vikings took the 4th WR in the first round of a historically weak WR crop. Addison has serious upside, but I don't like how they left so much talent on the board, with Porter Jr/Banks/Murphy/Smith just sitting there. Or if they were dead-set on WR, then trade up for JSN, he's easily the best WR in this class.
I'm not shocked at all that Hooker didn't go in the first round, his draft stock was inflated by the media to crazy degrees, he was never an option for the Vikings at #23. Levis falling to the 2nd is a big shock, especially with the odds of him going #2 or #4 were so high. So much for trading up to #3 to get him, they didn't even want him at #23, and no team was even willing to trade up to 31 for him!
