    I'm probably one of the oldest posters here. I think the bad fans left a couple years ago, and anyone who stuck around can't be considered a bad fan. I highly doubt the Twins will get a wild card spot and if they do, great. But the odds are long. I wouldn't even be surprised to see the Indians move ahead of us. But still, we'll win more games this year than I thought we would. I'll even go so far as saying TR is a fan, and a bit surprised as to how we are doing, at least the way we are doing it. And after listening to Gladden and Dave St Peter last night talk during the rain delay, have to give TR some credit. As St Peter said, some of the best trades are the ones not made. Then he immediately said how Escobar is playing a good shortstop. It seemed like he was saying TR turned down offers for Esco that he could have taken, but didn't. If so, kudo's to TR. Next year I'll have greater expectations, and the year after even greater leading to an 2018 ring. Some guys have to be gone next season and if not, I might become a bad fan.

    From what I've seen from Buxton, he doesn't have a strong arm, and not much power. More like Ben Revere in those traits.But he will have a long and successful career with what he does bring. Faster than all get out, we'll see a ton of bunt hits like the one last night. He'll get to alot of balls no other human could get to. He'll be an exciting player to watch for years. He is what he is and I wouldn't compare him to any other player at this point.

    1) Good question. I think Molitor would have made the HOF, but it may have taken longer. 2) Dozier could make a ton more money and be more valuable it he did use the whole field. I wouldn't have him bunting more with the power he does have. 3) Last year wasn't a fluke, but they just aren't hitting this year for some reason. 4) There's a very good chance the Yankees miss the playoffs. 5) We'll here there is an open competition for SS next spring, but Esco, in their mind has it locked up.

    Ho hum, another Sunday afternoon game during my usual golf time on Sundays. I'll go golfing, and probably come back here to see 19 pages of off the wall stuff and a few comments on weather I saw whatever Ploof just did. Hopefully the Sux pitch to Sano today, not walk him to get to so and so.
