He does have 3 more years of team control so no extension is likely, but he should get a nice pay raise
from his 2022 salary of $2,125,000. I think he deserves a 100% pay raise but it's not my money.
Ryan is basically still a rookie with his short 2021 season. I think to many fans are expecting way too much way too fast from him.
Look back at Frank Viola's stats for his first couple years. The guy really struggled until he put hit together in year 3.
