  1. Good thing Baldelli took Jax out. Unless the Twins can get back into the hitting groove again, this game is over.
  2. Arraez average is higher , but little Astudillo can put it over the fence, and at that , Astudillo has a far stronger arm than Arraez.
  3. He has hustle but lacks in baseball basic skills; spring training next year may tell whether is a glitch or real flaw.
  4. Not that long ago some here were hyperventilating over whether Arraez could win the batting title.?
  5. Arraez fielding today, Sept. 5 confirms they have a serious problem when Donaldson or Simmons do not play.
  6. AH wonderful base running by Arraez.
  7. Arraez showed why he should not be a regular infielder twice in a row; closed his glove before ball was there the first time and darn near lost the second one. It should be 4 to 1 not 4 to 2.
  8. Kiriloff is still a rookie unknown, he did not play enough games to prove anything so do not bet on the unknown. Hoping he continues at least as good as he was for sure; spring training will tell a lot. Arraez would be a fielding let down compared to what we have now, and his batting average is dropping like a rock.
  9. That is what spring training is for, not bringing in some rookie to get his butt handed to him now.
  10. Tampa Bay hit that many home runs and beat the Twins. Twins hit that many home runs and lost to Detroit who hit none. Blaming Albers is asinine.
  11. This umpire's strike zone is anamorphosis.
  12. Well he is playing up to his ERA when he started; I guess he did not want ruin that.
  13. Maybe instead of playing doxtor Welby, the dweebs who are supposed to coach these players should have had him in the minor a long time ago to get used to playing.
  14. I see we have another umpire who creates his own strike zone.
  15. They call them wild pitches but I am sure other teams are happy when Jeffers catches as he could not block a Turtle pitch bounching in at 10 mph.
  16. I do not know where that, now, too common fashion kitsch came from but I will be glad when it crawls back into it hole.
  17. Empty stands which will bother the Pohlads greatly, plus to go from a 90 loss season to another 90 loss season would be obtuse on its best day.
  18. Too soon to tell, but then Berrios fell apart too often and has done so for his new team also.
  19. Happ isn't the only pitcher that went down hill as the season got older.
  20. Which may say a lot about the Twins supposedly great pitching coach.
  21. Twins need one capable of being a 20 game winner (still my standard for best of the good).
  22. If you have long straight hair, as I do, the LAST thing you want is to have it flowing (wildly flopping and tangling in the wind, as some time you cannot untangle it ) The picture reminds me of dudes trying to grow mustache and beard with out enough facial follicles to do so.?
  23. All I can say about that fielding is Yuk.
  24. Part of it is being around mostly same people for years while also enjoying where you are at. I firmly believe that is part of what make Twins player play well or mediocre.
