  1. What other tems do has zero to do with the Twins system.
  2. When and IF, if the rookies are good enough they will be called up without replacing an injury. They are not good enough and turning the Bigs into a quasi-AAA class room is not intelligent. Come next year, it will be interesting to see what pans out without first screwing with rookies minds by throwing them against a level of play still outside their scope. What Cincinatti did with De La Cruz is an extreme rarity nowadays.
  3. I had to do yard work so did not see the game, at that; the Orioles beat the Yankees 14-1 before they played the Twins, so in a way, this is no surprise. Twins should have Cruz back at DH, if for no other reason, when he was here the Twins did not act like Possums, no moral support. La Tortuga and Cruz had mojo.
  4. You only are speaking of their bats, there gloves are just as importent and the lack of fielding ability is going to be the death of many.. If any of the Twins rookies had the hitting and running ability of Elly De La Cruz, it would be a different story.
  5. If they do that, and the rookie is a dud, he has little value.
  6. Better to send Miranda down and let Stevenson at least have taste of the bigs.
  7. Defense beat the Twins last night, in a close game defense makes the difference. Trade top level defense for a bat, Twins still lose.
  8. What is up, Gamecast is frozen Nevermind
  9. Farmer and Castro come through with a run.
  10. The Orioles defeated the Yankees 14-1 in their last game. Twins winning two out of three can be done but not if they are scoring only two to three runs per game.
  11. Nothing is blocking Wallner except lack of talent. What keeps Wallner in the minors is the fact that Kepler , in the minors, in 8 years had 4 errors in Right Field; Wallner , in the minors, in 4 years , had 26 errors in Right Field.
  12. Larnach is in the minors probably because his bat , that many use as the way to judge a player, has gone cold; Wallner is as bad in RF as Julien is at 2nd base. The people who run the Twins are not blind to their current detriments. Sadly, Larnach is actually pretty good in the outfield.
  13. The words they write about him contradict that, but that is your opinion and I have mine. I will admit he was bad last year, have gone from 10-0 in 2021 stealing bases to 3-2 which meant some thing had changed drastically in the way he approached the game.
  14. People just do not like Max Kepler it is simple as that, they do not need a reason.
  15. Jeffers is doing very well with the bat but Vasquez defense numbers are still superior. At that, Jeffers change from last year is a very good thing.
  16. In reality a win, is a win, but the Twins are doing better, with hitting, than beating KC 2-0 as we did in the first two games this year.
  17. BRAVO, BRAVO -- some here seem to want to dump known production for pie in the sky unknown, without regard that it will probably take the Twins from a team that will win 80 some games, to a team struggling to win 70 some games, for years. Julien could be the next Cruz DH , but Julien , Miranda and Wallners fielding is abysmal.
  18. They pay to see names they know, not -- where did this dude come from . Most fans do not religiously follow minor leagues like some here do -- Although -- with the Twins this is getting hard to do as gents to not stay around long.
  19. I see where tact you are taking is going, but the Twins have gone from a Leading team to a mediocre team. They are not the laughing stock of the league but get mention only for there poor performance; if they turn into a AAA and one-half team, they will be the humor point of the league, and fans do not pay to see a AAA and one-half team, that is finding out if they have winners or losers. Let them play out the year with the starters they started with using rookies only if absolutely necessary. Leave the rookies in AAA to get experience and come to Training Camp next spring with confidence, not come up and get destroyed psychologically by getting hammered due to not being ready yet. At least one or two teams have old school rookies who are ready before they even hit AAA, nowadays that is rare, very rare; it seems a lot are not going to last long even in AAA as baseball is run now.
  20. Well they might win the Triple-A National Championship Game,
  21. Where is Jake Cave when we need him Maybe they can trade Wallner for Billy Hamilton.
