  1. Add to that, his throws to first have the First Baseman guessing whether he will try to dig it out of the dirt, jump in the air to catch it, or have reach to the left or right to the extreme or leave he bag to catch it.Fi His fielding is a Chinese Fire Drill.
  2. Wallner has much better defense numbers in right field but I think it would be a good idea to play him in left enough times to see if he can do as well there as in right.
  3. It has Zero to do with trust; front office is going to do what they do, without regard to any trust in any form. Now appreciate or dismiss as being , not right, that fans can do. I accept what they do , but have different attitudes on moves made.
  4. Don't forget the American Expeditionary Force into the Russian revolution till 1920.
  5. I assume by radio, you are not speaking of old school, no computer, radio. Years back before Bush killed old school radio broadcasts, I could , at night listen to stations and games hundres of miles away on AM at night. Bush killed all that and now , I am seventy miles from the WCCO station and I have a hard time getting it at night, horrible fade in and out, where 50 years ago I would listen to it all the way home from Road America in Wisc.
  6. Columbus pitcher made Saints best look like rookies; maye we can trade Gallo for him?
  7. This isn't spring training. To do that , unless injuries force it, would be doltish; they are trying to win a division, not running try outs.
  8. Yet those of the gnashing of teeth and woeful cries have SO MUCH insight.😨
  9. Or they know more about the game, currently, than all the moanng and gnashing of teeth going on here.
  10. Hmm, Kansas City went to the Worls Series in 2014 and 2015 winning the latter, so the other division must have REALLY BAD. This "blocking" scgtick sounds like a little moaning to his parnent thats not FAIR, they simply were not good enough , nothing to do with any "blocking" schtick.
  11. Yep, now we will see what is still here, can or cannot do.
  12. So what? No one has the magic dice that say who will sink and who will sail, such is life in sports.
  13. Unless you are Carnac the Magnificent, you do not know what fans are thinking. As for the second paragraph, unless you are CtM, wishful thinking and nothing else, which in all probablility, is incorrect.
  14. and become just plain last place losers, brilliant.
  15. https://www.mlb.com/news/edmundo-sosa-jake-cave-s-big-games-carry-phillies-to-victory Unsung heroes Sosa, Cave carry Philly to massive series win Baltimore had a runner on second with two outs in the sixth, when Ramón Urías ripped a ball to left field. Cave ran almost 60 feet toward the left-field wall. He jumped to make an over-the-shoulder catch, slamming into the wall and tumbling backward. He held onto the ball. Cave looked up at the fans in the first row. He yelled at them, then tossed them the ball.
  16. Disregarding his injury, no one does that to one's self, any diminished value is self-inflicted.
  17. You can stop watch paying attention any time you, or any one wants to, not one thing to do with any right. I follow the Twins because I like baseball; if they a basement dweller, I still listen/watch; if they are a 100 wins game team, I do not follow them any less or more. If they can or trade a player I like, that has zero to do with frequency I listen to or watch a game. On another note: I had the "right" to quit paying attention to the Vikings, and I did.😇
  18. This team took the series from the Yankees; no crystal ball needed for that. The Chicken-Little attitude does not mean if they make the play-offs they cannot win a game, regardless no matter how much some here hope they do not.
  19. What crystal ball says this so-called rebuild will not be just more the same , or worse?
  20. They are still in first place; with a lot of spin the bottle rookies, what KC did will beome the norm.
  21. Kepler is simply a lot better than either; Gallo -- I have neither been on or off , except he is still a good fielder. Both Larnach and Wallner are not truly good fielders but Larnach just plain better than Wallner. This year, Twins need to play what they know; A horrid time to turn into what amounts to a AAA team, in the majors.
  22. Their sustained ability is unknown, not more, probably less, while in defense i a huge amount less. A lot of rookies have come up, shown brightly then gone dim or burned out, recently. julizn fielding at secone is a nail biter with each throw, Wallner in Right is a degrade from Kepler, Larnach and Miranda's boats have probably sailed. There is a LOT of play this rookie, play that rookie, and the past years have shown that to be an empty promise. We are trying to win the division this year, next years Spring Training will weed out some mystery. Wishful thinking has a smaller sucess rate than shooting craps.
