  1. Rose colored glasses. His day may come but now he plays like a rookie.
  2. Lewis does not have to worry about ever being in AAA again unless he gets hurt.
  3. There is no reason Floro had to pitch or Hendriks. Beating this team would prove some thing , save the also rans for the other teams.
  4. In Sept. 3 hits and 11 strike outs, Rank it as you will.
  5. Does it matter when you have destroyed the chance to win?
  6. Baldelli has to play what he has intelligently, this does not show an intelligent decision.
  7. Julien will probably be back in AAA next year with Wallner.
  8. Baldelli still knows which pitchers can lose the game, and uses them.
  9. Jeffers does seem to learn the hard-way but so far he has seemed to learn.
  10. The old, real Jeffers is back.
  11. Mets would end up getting Lewis, Julien, Wallner and any other rookie who started Major League game for the past two years, minimum, then favre would come back and win the Super Bowl for the Vikings.
  12. Or he could end up like Larnach , if with the Twins, a regular in St. Paul, and not much more.
  13. Next spring, he may find himself in AAA again, but if he does not do better there than Larnach is this year, that may be his new home. Stevenson, if his baseball career does not work out, he looks likes Chatsworth Osborne, Jr. from the old Dobie Gillis show and could fit right in if they ever did a redo of that.
  14. The infielder was closer to the ball but backed off because Lurch was charging like a bull. The infielder could have had it, but Wallner has gone back to his disregard for other fielders again like he was last year.
  15. So he could stike out instead?
  16. Wallner should have let the other gent get that one.
  17. A lot of 0 fors, the whole team exept for two.
  18. Good news, Julien has been moved from second to DH.
  19. Players who make it to the Bigs in their early twenties are not unusual, there just does not seem to be as many as there used to, but Jenkins seems to fit that mold so enjoy the ride.
  20. Listening to the TV announcer, the Mets are suffering from the Bull Pen disease that has hurt the Twins in the past too often.
  21. Twins pitcher is throwing batting practice pitches, or stirke outs.
  22. That odd double that Farmer got, my memory, good or not, seems to remember there used to be batters that could deliberately get little stick the bat out there hits in the past. The little Texas League type hits on purpose.
  23. Gallo , for lack of a better word, is smooth, looks like instinct; Wallner is herky-jerky , looks ackward. Wallner IS better, than he was, but a long way to go.
