  1. Fogo de Chão at 645 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403-1818 Hit it for lunch if you can , and you will save a chunk of change.
  2. Some here moaned when the Twins let Badoo go, Cave played more game than Kirilloff has, Hicks was in the same boat as Kirilloff when he was dumped, no difference.
  3. Batting .136 against Lefties , yes; unless he can go back to AAA and eliminate that problem, do not bat him against lefties. Garlick batted .224 against right hand and .243 against left hand last year and he is at AAA. so what makes Kirilloff special. Although I do believe a revolving door system does more harm than good for those in the Twins org.
  4. Just like Hicks, Cave and Badoo -- been there done that, does not work. Paying fans in the stands would rather see failing vets, than failing rookies.
  5. "Twins Win as Tigers Offense Reverts to Form" Twins only had 3 hits, also so it is more like Twins win while Tigers try to imitate Twins minus excess strike outs.
  6. Trade him, unless he cam become as limber as Jeffers.
  7. Lurch Wallner would be SO much better in right field. 🙄
  8. Yeah, Keppler is striking out 10 times a game while every one else is batting .300 😏
  9. Pagan gave up one of two three run home runs; remove the first and Twins win.
  10. Being forced to play Designated Hitter, or Designated Strike Out, YES
  11. Give it Two Weeks or maybe the middle of May, then what truly need fixing will be fairly obvious.
  12. Where did I say I did not like Polanco. Kirilloff has not shown he is any better than those here now, so all the -- I cannot wait till x, y or h comes up is wishful thinking is just wishing with out reason. I very much hope when Polanco comes back he is pretty much what he was before, but I do not believe in wishful thinking miracles as is broadcast here often.
  13. The poor throw to Solano and Solano coming off the bag lost the game. You could see Baldelli knew that , and was very upset with that turn of events but as there were other failings last night he was not going to say it.
  14. With 3 strike outs and a walk last night, Polanco would fit right in the the current Twins team.
  15. This is not the time for the Twins to be the equivalent of AAA for rookies from St. Paul. If Gordon was not in a massive slump, Julien would not be here, but it is better to let Castro figure his problem out rather than bring Julien up to fail. As nice as his first hit and home run were against NY, probably bad because of the let-down that followed, that has to play with one's mind. I do wonder how many rookies come up, do very well, but then sink with each passing year , like Jake Cave; compared to how many come up, perform sub-average but get better with each passin year.
  16. Why Buxton is D.H. and not Jeffers, is odd to me. Right now Jeffers is hitting, and slimmed down while getting around bases quicker. Garlick is in left field; his numbers against R.H. pitchers last year is not that bad, 3 home runs, but I read a game report from last year where he did well against a right hand pitcher. He said he sees them so seldom, it feels odd, and he is not sure how adjust his batting. This day last year we beat Boston 8 to 3, one of the Twins better series.
  17. Turn out like Julien? Assuming you're not trolling, how do you mean? -- Assuming you are not trolling -- B.A. .118, fielding skills lacking. You figure it out. Aaron Hicks had 4 straight really good seasons with the Yanks, and now injuries are getting him. Even Rooker is raking in Oakland right now. -- HIcks had two good years where his B.A. was more than 35 points above the Mendoza line, his fielding numbers on average are no better than Garlick's. Rooker's fielding numbers are like Sano at third base. Well then I guess the Twins should have never let them go, they would have made the team so much better. I did not say they would fail , I said that the title saying they would be a success was wishful thinking without proof. The articles headline say they would be some great success -- wishful thinking; that they might be OK, better than average, possible , not a guarantee.
  18. I am putting this here as I do not call a Player a Twin unless he is in the majors so this applies to gents who were called up but went back to AAA. Is it possible for a Minor League, AAA, player to spend near his entire career in the minors? The gent who has the Minor League home run record, moved around some but spent most of his time with the same org.
  19. This is wishful hoping. Hoping Polanco comes back like he was, hoping Kirilloff, Lewis , much less Lee, do not turn out like Julien, or worse like Hicks or Rooker. Twins rookies have not had any where near the ability so many Nostradamus seers have said they would be. The ability to endure (not end up on injured list) is also a main part of a rookies stats.,, one where Gordon has show greater ability. If the title said rookies who -- might help -- that -- could be true, but to say they are some sort of sure thing, wishful thinking.
  20. His defnse numbers look solid, not gold glove level but no negatives.
  21. Twins need Gallo's bat badly, he will not be sitting on the bench; same for Taylor and Solano. Baldelli pretty much , if you are here, you will play, to some degree, but with the cold bats right now, one will earn or lose being on the field. There is no reason to play Kirilloff unless some one has a long slump. Polanco???
  22. Unless Julien, Larnach and Miranda suddenly get a lot better he will stay when the hurt boys come back. Julien is going back to the Saints. Most of the bruhaha about Kiriloff is wishful thinking at this point so this team may change little from what it is now. With the current team strike out rate, Gordon is safe for now.
  23. Kirilloff and Lewis have to EARN playing time ; right now they are unknown rookies, who Twins front office are not just another version of Rooker or Badoo. Hot start before flailing away became the norm.
  24. Farmer will take over third when/if Miranda goes down for more practice with the Saints.
  25. Garlick 2022 The only thing that keeps Larnach here over Garlick is Larnach is a better fielder. Larnach's numbers last year were not really any better than Garlick's
