  1. ONE player is the problem and solution, amazing case of tunnel vision caused by dislike for a person. Some want to put lead glove Wallner out there, brilliant.
  2. So then only bad options exist?
  3. Failure is staying ahead,? We are ahead of what?
  4. Analogy does not work, what they do is their situation, not the Twins, unless you think Ks are a sign of good batting skills.
  5. I said nothing about solution, but it seems you and others think removing him IS a solution to all Twins problems..
  6. Kepler has a low strike out rate on a team setting strike out records; he is the problem how?
  7. Hmm, trade a poor hitting team with good fielding for a poor hitting team with lead gloves.😂
  8. I agree with you to a point there. There is no sparkplug vet. to get them going through low points. At that, if Correa tries to help one, I can see them saying, I already have a better BA than you do.
  9. Without serious fielding drills, he will never work through his struggle, although his Minor League fielding numbers say, for him to do so, would actually be a miracle.
  10. Pie-in-sky wishful thinking, at best. Pohlads have the Twins to make money, attendance is dropping, putting a team of crap-shoot newbies will not bring in any more fans. Bottom line, money; money comes from fans in the stands. The fact the Twins cannot hit, with either same veterans or newbies who are below what they were before they came here , shows that coaching may not be the only problem , but definatley a large part of it., but blaming the players and saying replacements will fix it , is illogical.
  11. I do not pretend to be a MLB expert, that is up the front office,, who do know that minor league is not the world of major league, therefore; breaking in a AAA coach is more of a learning exp. for him than improving what they have. It SEEMS, the current coaches results show that is not a good idea. Just my opinion.
  12. Coach with major league exp.
  13. AAA pitching is mostly NOT at the level of the Big Show.
  14. Is that not part of the reason they are where they are?
  15. Other teams will develope a new tactic -- hit it to the lead gloves who cannot throw straight, you will gain an extra base.
  16. What other tems do has zero to do with the Twins system.
  17. When and IF, if the rookies are good enough they will be called up without replacing an injury. They are not good enough and turning the Bigs into a quasi-AAA class room is not intelligent. Come next year, it will be interesting to see what pans out without first screwing with rookies minds by throwing them against a level of play still outside their scope. What Cincinatti did with De La Cruz is an extreme rarity nowadays.
  18. I had to do yard work so did not see the game, at that; the Orioles beat the Yankees 14-1 before they played the Twins, so in a way, this is no surprise. Twins should have Cruz back at DH, if for no other reason, when he was here the Twins did not act like Possums, no moral support. La Tortuga and Cruz had mojo.
  19. You only are speaking of their bats, there gloves are just as importent and the lack of fielding ability is going to be the death of many.. If any of the Twins rookies had the hitting and running ability of Elly De La Cruz, it would be a different story.
  20. If they do that, and the rookie is a dud, he has little value.
  21. Better to send Miranda down and let Stevenson at least have taste of the bigs.
  22. Defense beat the Twins last night, in a close game defense makes the difference. Trade top level defense for a bat, Twins still lose.
  23. What is up, Gamecast is frozen Nevermind
  24. Farmer and Castro come through with a run.
  25. The Orioles defeated the Yankees 14-1 in their last game. Twins winning two out of three can be done but not if they are scoring only two to three runs per game.
