  1. He has a total of 23 Big Show hits, but 5 of them are home runs, may not hit often but hits it pretty far, at that; his defense is incredibly good. He would make a good Twins third catcher for when they absolutely need defense.
  2. No game is meaningless; some forecast the future.
  3. If the Twins do not perform any better tonight, Sept. 29 than they did last night, I have worries the losing streak in post season may continue.
  4. Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera is playing his final games at Comerica Park during the team’s ongoing homestand ahead of the end of the 2023 season, at which point the 21-year veteran plans to retire from MLB. During the second inning of Wednesday’s game against the Royals, Cabrera delivered an opposite field solo home run off Royals starter Jonathan Bowlan—who was making his MLB debut—to give Detroit an early lead, in what was an amazing moment for the 40-year-old. Fans cheered and applauded as Cabrera trotted around the bases, and he waved back to the supporters and tipped his helmet as he walked into the dugout. The home run was his fourth of the season and the 511th of his career. With just four more games left in the season for the Tigers, not including Wednesday, it could potentially have been his last homer in the big leagues. Cabrera’s teammates were eagerly awaiting him in the dugout, and he had a big smile on his face as he greeted them while celebrating the solo shot. While his power at the plate has largely evaporated late into his career, Cabrera rewinded the clocks in a big way on Wednesday, uncorking a home run the other way and giving Tigers fans in attendance a lasting memory of his remarkable career.
  5. Buxton should NOT be on the team, he cannot play field and his bat is not better than Gallo's. Gallo is a good fielder; Luplow -- crap shoot but either is better than Buxton.
  6. NOT a good way to end home games.
  7. Not a good time for Taylor to go into a slump.
  8. The youth are not impressive; Julien especially.
  9. Different looking outfield right now.
  10. Kep 4 for 4, he is trying to equal Gallo!
  11. I would like to see him race La Tortuga in a 40 yard dash.
  12. Let Keuchel finish the game.
  13. Polanco's chance to win the game.
  14. Julien's chance to win the game.
  15. My High School played the games over the entire school loudspeaker system, all day.
  16. The longest at Target Field was 496 by Sano, but with the new way they measure it is still pretty much by guess and by gosh.
  17. At THIS point, I am thinking that IF, the Twins win at least 4 of 6 games, thoughts on post season make sense; IF the Twins win only 3 of 6, some thing is back firing and just winning one of the post season games is still expected; IF the Twins will less than 4 of 6, winning just one of the post season games is a step foreward but nothing for certain. To put it in perspective of reality though: Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
  18. Who was Pretty Boy Larry Hennig, when he wrestled with Handsome Harley Race. 😘
  19. I see Gordon is maintaining a .100 battng average with an OPS of .367. Nice guy but his days with the Twins should be short. 10 Ks for the Saints, they are a real Twins Org. team.
  20. Wallner could, score a lot of runs without swinging a bat, gets a lot of walks and gets hit, by the ball a lot. Odd with his large strike zone.🙃
