  1. Larnach , Kepler and Buxton are the only three looking mostly not in K land. Up to Buxton and Kepler next inning to keep it going.
  2. Smooth ball handling for Julien.
  3. The difference between a pitcher with a 2.84 ERA and one with 4.39.
  4. Another Wallner, yes it can.
  5. Santana was signed for improved defense at First Base, only reason.
  6. I do not know about the DH, but players on the field can switch positions any time during dead ball time, and switch back next hitter. If one leaves he field, he is done for the day.
  7. Without the home runs, but still better defense.
  8. Joey Gallo went 3 for 4 in game this year too. IF, if Chicago is a bad as so many here say, this series mean nothing for Twins batting numbers; wait till the next two teams that will be a better sample.
  9. I think you said, or some one said; the pitchers have adjusted to his style faster than he has altered his style.
  10. The way the Twins usually end up with so call bad teams, I would not bet a plut-nickle on it. Not to predict a too bad future; when they play the Yankees, the Yankees will probably use their back-up team.
  11. Farmer's fielding history has him as a quite good 2nd baseman, good 3rd baseman and at best average Short Stop. He was here last year so Julien could be pulled when defense became a top priority, not play Short Stop.st He is hitting the ball, verses Julien whiffing, but he is hitting the ball where they are, not where they are not, while Julien is not the Twin doing the best imitation of Joey Gallo, although Gallo only has 3 HR to Juliens 4. Margot, has one of the few Twins home runs; Santana -- EEwww -- Miranada is still a just plain lousy fielder. Kirilloff and Larnach are showing they will be staying in the Majors but is sad the whole team, without exception seem to be sinking into the sunset.
  12. An odd thing is Julien and Santana both tore apart ST pitching, now the team sucked in ST but how can two guys suddenly fall apart. At that Farmer had his worst ST ever and it shows. This is a TEAM collapse. What ever coaches are telling them is a self-destructive ideology as this team started lousy and has gotten worse.
  13. That is what AAA is for, not the Majors. From 2023: Spring Training showed he is not better against Lefties.
  14. In Spring Training his BA against Lefties was .000 in 12 at bat with 4 Ks; unless the Twins have decided the season is over, if he can't do it there it would be stupid to think he could learn it here. The results would probably screw up his train of thought and ruin what he does have going.
  15. The Twins are playing at the same level they played at in Spring Training. I really not surprised as it is a team sport and when the team play stinks so will the record. I am sad and dissapointed that Buxton, Julien and Santana have fallen so far from Spring Training numbers.
  16. But loud voices here say Spring Training is meaningless. The Twins stunk in Spring Training, and are now a near duplicate of that team.
  17. Don't complain , you would rather another K?
  18. Nothing to do with options, it is how one can be that low with so few Ks.
  19. Yes but Mat signed for the same as last year, in the end.
