  1. Keplers fielding numbers in the minors in Center were as horrid as Wallners numbers in Right, while his numbers in Right were excellent; that is probably why Kepler does not get sent to center field.
  2. I said managers see more than computer numbers, unless they are using a pen and paper, nowadays they are computer numbers.
  3. Your point is? Pro sports, manager see more than computer numbers.
  4. Put Bux on the IL and call up Stevenson, why he has never been called up is odd.
  5. Put a gent who cannot decently throw a ball 90 ft. into the outfield, LOL; The infielders would have to run half way out to Julien and hope the ball comes their way.
  6. No I mean Elly De La Cruz. Wallners ship has long sailed, but Walker could be the first Twins rookie to be full time before he is 23 if Good Fortune and ability is on his side.
  7. What if the Twins went to old fashioned looong relief? Put him in in the fifth or sixth to finsh the game?
  8. What ever is wrong probably cannot withstand the sudden change of direction and sudden stops fielding needs; been there done that in the work world. He said he hates DH because it throws his timing off and that has been proven this year; must be some thing in the contract that keeps him playing or maybe FO sympathy for him.
  9. He seems to have a strong arm, how hard is it to teach him to play left field? Even if the accuracy is a bit off, a fielder who can throw from the edge of the warning track to home plate puts fear in runners.
  10. I do not follow draft picks and rarely pay any attention to AAA (last time was over 40 years ago) but I will probably keep on eye on Walker hoping he is the Twins version of De La Cruz.
  11. 😂Yeah, walking in a run and another on one of the wild pitches, no problem .🤣
  12. They earned the chance; there are a lot of boys that never make it out of AA or AAA becasue they did not have the ability to move up. This is professional sport , not grade school every one gets to play.
  13. They do not make rookie unknowns good ball players either.
  14. I am not justifiying anything; saying Player x, y, or z should not be playing because you or any one thinks some one else should be playing , does not justify that he should be playing either. It is simple opinion.
  15. His/their talent is as good as the Twins managers see it to be, not you. They know what he/they have shown they can or cannot do, you or those manager wannabes on the forum do not.
  16. Ones baseball talent brings promotion and playing time, or lack thereof; this is not grade school fairness, every one plays regardless of ability.
  17. Opportunity leads to both success and failure; lack of enough talent means failure. Nothing blocked their opportunity, they are already in professional baseball, nothing stops them moving foreward but themselves.
  18. The only thing that blocks any rookie is lack of talent, end of story. I will give the Twins Front Office , they do not treat the player like commodities for money; players go as far as their abilities take them, they are not dumped out like yesterdays trash.
  19. Julien's glove work is atrocious, as bad or worse than Polanco was at SS, and Polanco was listed among the worst SS ever by the baseball "experts" in a list of worst ever.
  20. Selling known attributes for Pie-in-the-Sky wannabes, that would be foolish.
  21. Good question. His number were not that bad, although Ks were up. It seems the day he was traded from the Twins, his fire went out.
