    Some the supposed pitch locations on the MLB box make it look like the batter almost getting hit, or the ball is two feet over the catchers head.

    I will agree with that. I wonder though if Vazquez had caught it and moved left to make the tag if he would have been called for blocking the plate any way. The runner who could have slid between Vazquez legs actually stopped, maybe looking for a blocking the plate call. The Twins have been screwed on those in the past.

    Now Wallner should be playing; he was born in Minn. and to him this weather is just a cool evening.

    If I lived sixty miles closer I would probably have made an effort but alas, I do not. (Events with few spectators are often far more enjoyable.) Now if they served quart sized hot-toddys, I might.... Minnesotans are no longer the Viking hardy population they once were. I used to go to snowmobile races in sub-zero weather, now there are almost no snowmobile races in Minnesota any more.

    No they are hard to come by and show that a team is actually pretty good in some aspects.😄

    I have a feeling Billy Martin would have had a better record with the same group.

    Winning a 1-0 game is just as important as winning an 11-2 game and actually more important as it shows a team does not need basket full of runs to win. Twins won a World Series without baskets full of runs. What the Twins need is pitchers who do not make hitting a home run easy.

    Yeah , the Twins should really, really have a run at will catcher in the game instead. Just maybe Miranda's .833 fielding numbers made Rocco decide we should really try to win the first game

    It seems both. At his point in time, Joey Gallo is batting at the BA most expect, but he did Already have 3 for 4 game; I am anxiously awaiting the Twins under achievers to do the same thing.

    A mostly competent defense is the only reason some game were close and others were won.
