    Wallner is fast -- once -- he gets moving -- but is very slow and awkward in setting up for a play. Larnach is agile, far more agile than Wallner, and so far his throws are quite accurate., though distance has never been Larnach's strong point.

    Batista fell short on the fielding side, 6 errors in 50 games, his bat was not a problem.

    That a majority of players were well below the Mendoza line -- can -- be blamed on players holding the bats -- but -- the fact SO many collapsed at once has to be at least in part because of what team coached tell -- or do NOT -- tell them.

    More like, Wallner is going to have to look like Ted Williams to not stay in St.Paul all summer. Larnach is not a great fielder, but more mobile than Wallner.
