Hey , what if Lewis turns his career around and plays like a house a fire when he first came up , you going to feel silly that you picked on him ... Do you know why Lewis might not be hitting homeruns over the fence, they come up short of going over ... Besides his aggressiveness at swinging badly at outside pitches he also might have lost his flexibility when you muscle up , you actually lose power when you lose your flexibility ... I'd give him another year , then we can evaluate what he is going to be , he really hasn't played alot of baseball in 3 years because of injuries ...

Piss poor pitiful .... If we had A's lineup we would definitely be playoff bound ... A's doesn't have the pitching to get there but the bashers are always fun to watch , I can't believe our players can't pick up some pointers on how other players hit ... A's maybe a last place team in the west but they aren't as bad as the article states ...

These players get paid to play baseball , if they don't play baseball they should be fined on plays like outman did ... Or he should be back down in AAA working on his game , would he of beat the throw on strike three passed ball i don't know , he didn't make an effort ... What a crock ...

Better speed with Clemens than Lee , yes it wasn't out of the infield and yes it takes guts, but we need runs so I'll over look reckless and say it was a gutsy play , you got to make something happen , the catcher is good but could have dropped the ball ...

The infield at second base he has performed okay , but because the team feels Martin is athletic enough to play anywhere he is failing , the team don't like him in the infield and the fans don't like him in the outfield , when we ever going to win ... Now we have 2 outfielders that are not athletic but play the corners around average at best , why haven't they at least tried to move a larnach or wallner to first base , I scratch my head about this as well ..

Does anyone know why we never sign a number 1 draft choice that is very close to playing in the major leagues ... I know the twins procedures is to get a first round draft choices to agree to a signing of under slot dollars so they can spend over slot on others ... Maybe they should just get a player closet to the major leagues and sign him over slot for a first rounder ... Other team's the past five years have been picking draft choices in first round or even in lower rounds and have them playing in the major leagues their first year of professional ball ... To answer my question , it is a money issue , finding the best talent at a price they are comfortable with , not finding the best player to play the game ...

Find 1 permanent spot for players so they can succeed , they want players to play multiple positions and don't care about the defense part of it ...
